Not quite poverty worthy but there's no better place to post this thread. Post cheap recipes and foods to buy when you have fuck all money. My weekly food budget is usually around $40 so I'm curious to see what you guys come up with.

best poverty recipe imo: rice + brussel sprouts, fry leftovers the next day. cheese or meat as always makes things more delicious but it's not always available.

essential shit aside from bulk rice and beans is onions. when your shit is blander than fuck, put salt, pepper, and onion in it. and honestly, garlic salt > salt.
