Got any scheduling tips or ways to alleviate having less then 5 hours of free time?
Happy and Thank God it's easter today

Ugh, that sounds awful OP. Hang in there.
I haven't done 2 jobs but I have done jobs with 14 hour days, leaving me with 8 hours to sleep and 2 hours to have "free time"…Thank god I had access to a bathtub/shower at the time. I would just sit in there when i got home and try to relax with some epsom salt and an ice pack for my muscles. There really wasn't time to do anything at home except for shower, eat a meal, and then go right to sleep. I would try to wake up early sometimes so I could do other stuff, like get groceries, take a walk, or make a phone call…but most of the time sleep felt way more valuable. Luckily I didn't have to see a doctor or anything during that time.
Right now I don't have to deal with 14 hour days, thankfully. But I have come to think of my workplace as fully part of my life, not just some place I have to go to and grit my teeth until I am home. I get involved, I try to make the workplace as pleasant for myself as I can. I have become more assertive about getting my needs met at work, i.e. if I honestly can't stay late, I say so. If I need a break, I take one. If I feel pretty sick, I tell someone. Also, I make my commute enjoyable and something to look forward to by practicing singing or playing with my voice range (or just yelling random stuff after a stressful day…), or listening to books on tape. And then when it comes to food…Get something you like that you can make in a big batch on one day of the week and eat it for the rest of the week. Or get a rice cooker, so when you wake up or get home you just flip it on and you can do other stuff while it makes your meal for you.

i used to work 12 hours a week and thought it was too much
1 day of working for 4 hours and 1 day or working 8
i do not understand how people stand for 8 hours straight without feeling excruciating back pain. i worked at a clothing store at the mall and there were no chairs or anything, so you could never sit down. i would get yelled at for sitting down on a table as i folded the clothes
