I think getting a job would be great but I've been applying places online and in person for like a year clearly I'm just retarded and doing it wrong how do I get a job?

Whereabouts are you and what kinds of jobs are you applying to?

In my hometown I went to a job center and there was some kind of money assistance you could get, where they would either give you some amount (like $3000?) to put you through technical training if you could prove there were some jobs for it in the area, or you could use the money to tell a potential employer that they could page you half wages while the state/county/city paid the other half of your wages (till the money ran out). I didn't end up using it but it seemed like a sweet deal.

You're not actually applying online and in person as much as you'd like people to think you are, or you'd have a job by now. I know how your mentality works. My dad used that mentality his whole life. I used that mentality. It's easy, you apply three or four places online (mostly retail) EVERY DAY. Then you go to interviews and relax, just answer the questions with some thought behind your answers. Dress up, maybe a polo shirt and some slacks for the interview. Bathing regularly helps too.

Fuck that noise. I've had many jobs with wicked assholes in charge, just about every job I've ever had. I'm done. Killing myself when I'm done being a NEET off of the money I saved.
