I put gender female in my bio on a game… and someone thinks I'm actually a gril. So can someone link a good, convincing voice changer (like perhaps um, one that doesn't sound like robot-voice) for VoIP?

My dream is to be a strong, competitive gamergril! Need your halp!

Preferably something I can torrent or download without exchanging shekels.

The only one mentioned on this board so far is MorphVOX Pro. I downloaded it and it doesn't seem to work very good for me. I think it might be because of my shitty mic but it just makes me sound pre-pubescent rather than a female.

Trying to find others though. The voice is very important, if you plan on getting steam shit you need a voice to attract people and also to dissuade detractors.

All of the software based solutions end up sounding like shit.

If you're willing to spend a bit of money, I've had a lot of luck with the Roland Voice transformer. Vt-3 is newest model, goes for $200 I think. Mine is an older Vt-1 that I got second hand.

I've pretty much never been called out while using it, even for "phone" sex. Actual telephone calls are a weak spot, but Skype etc. work fine.

It's probably not worth retail for playing games in chat rooms though.

I tried the morphvox software(latest version I saw on the bay; Screaming Bee MorphVOX Pro 4.4.9 Build 20443 Deluxe Pack WiN [deepstatus][h33t][1337x]). Is it just the version I got because it hardly interpreted my voice at all and sounded like complete shit when I fed its output into Vocaroo. I could hear my voice more than the robo-synthesisized one.

I just got MorphVOX Pro and after installing all the plugin voices, some seem to work okay with my voice. I ran the voice doctor thing and had to play with the sliders in the preferences for a while though. Also, the noise cancellation is kind of obvious, so I recorded the normal background noise from my mic and set that as a background. Seems to help, but I haven't tried it on anybody yet.

Do any of you girls have suggestions on where to be a voice slut? Or just a girl on voice at all… I don't really play games a lot. And how do I phone sex as a girl in general? I've pretty much only text ERP kind of things.

There are a few voice morphology vst effects you can use, if you can get software to route your audio through a vst. That said, that doesn't solve the issue of general inflection and tone, which is something that would take as much practice as learning a new accent to be able to do, and might slip out in your daily life, so that would suck.

Unfortunately, I am sure that this will never happen. My voice is naturally deep, and I have a very strong British Regional accent.

I guess the only way to remedy this would be to ;earn to speak with a female accent an tone, reduce my timbre, and combine that with the pitch and breath effect that MorphVox provides, but this would take tons of practice.

No, try it. MorphVox by Screaming Bee, son. It genuinely works if you can fix the terrible robotic sound by fixing the sliders. You actually have to sit there talking into it, recording your voice as it alters into types. Do it for half a day, you'll get it. Just make sure nobody's around to hear the ridiculous shit you need to say to sound feminine.
