Okay I'm not just shitposting here, I'm serious. I used to be really into punk, and it's still got a special place in my heart, but what's the point anymore? People first started saying 'punk is dead' a long time ago, when punk first started getting commercialized in the 90s. But now punk has already been fully commercialized, and punk culture is just another stupid meaningless american subculture. Few a full time punk anymore, just on the weekends. Most are too afraid to do anything even slightly dangerous or risky.
So what the fuck is the point? Hell even this is pointless; most of you probably just bought it window-shopping subcultures at hot topic.

Everyone has to grow up eventually. Punk isn't dead there is a very real and healthy punk scene still. The highly commercialised pop punk scene just overshadows it by a long shot.

Folk punk every year all year always folk punk until it dies down and then bring it back during the space age in a thousand or so years we'll have much better folk punk but you have to get a washboard get a washboard or music in space will exclusively be witch house. Witch house and only witch house because you're lazy and won't go get a washboard.
