Windows 10 is a botnet. It is scanning the internet to detect

any older Windows operating systems to force auto-updates against

the users' will. Do you know that users can take care of this?

If you have an older Windows system, all you have to do is make

sure the Auto-updater is defunct and can no longer work on the

operating system … and it's no secret how to do this either!

Click the Start Menu / click Run / type regedit / press Enter

You will be taken to the registry editor! (regedit.exe)

OK, kids. This can be a very dangerous tool fooling around with!

Do not change or delete registry if you don't know what the hell

you are doing because this is how your system functions! Its

how most (if not all) things function on Microsoft Windows!

Here are the instructions to defunct Microsoft Auto-update:

Wouldn't it be better to make a generic Free Software board? Win 10 is just one of many problems.

That's a great idea, but I think I'll leave that up to someone else who is more savvy in the field of free open-source software. The software I've pirated/collected is stuff that I've had sitting on DVD backups for quite some time now, all of it I still put to use: >>3 & >>4

If anyone has some other tips or mirrored software, they can post below the 'SOFTWARE BUNDLES BACKUP' thread if they want to share it.

I see it's about to get technical.

I really should have better understanding of computers but instead of learning I shitpost

So yea, your instructions don't work pal.

When I find the HKEY folder for the windows update agent none of the things in those instructions exist.

No 'advanced', no 'Inherit from parent' to uncheck, nothing.

Even the find function didn't find shit I had to manually scroll through all the folders to find it.

I'm glad I checked this board, its been a while.

I might have left out the fact you have to right click on some of the selected registry and select "Permissions" first, also copy/paste works wonders in "Find" Look at the upper left hand corner of regedit, the options include: "File" "Edit" "View" "Favorites" "Help" … press "Edit" and go to "Find" … a blank box will appear … copy/paste a selected CLSID from an instruction (an algorithm string) or you can type in what you are specifically looking for and press Enter. Its a geeky but very powerful tool that takes time getting used to. Once you get the hang of it, you will be able to defunct what you don't need in the system - but be very careful you don't delete anything your system needs.

Mine's there but it won't let me remove anything from the permissions lists.
