Once again the bell starts to ring signifying the end of the long school day. Being a second year, you should be more excited about going to school and making memories but ever since she graduated last year, school has felt empty for you. All around you, your classmates make plans.
"Hey! Kaori, let's go to karaoke."
"Eh? I can't today… I have club activities…" Hearing the word club activities reminded you that you were the only member left for the occult research club.
"Hmm… Maybe I should open up the occult research club today… People might be looking to join it…" The first week of school is pretty lucrative for clubs to recruit the new first years. Every club is out on the courtyard trying their best to recruit as many new people as possible.
Then, images of your goodbye with your upperclassman floods back into your mind. "Keep the occult research club alive for me okay?" Your time with her was fleeting. The one year you spent with her felt incredibly short but it fit her personality perfectly. She was always energetic and looking for adventure. She singlehandedly made your first year in high school an exciting time.
"Hmm I should open it up one of these days or else I might risk it getting suspended…"

With a determined look on your face, you walk towards the club room. "I should keep it alive…" You whisper to yourself. In order for her to stay alive in your memory, you decide that you will keep the club alive. "It's the least I could do for senpai."
However, interest in the club has waned ever since she graduated. It was clear that the only reason people checked it out in the first place was because the president was rumoured to be the most beautiful girl in school. Now that the rumoured president is nothing but an otaku looking guy, it was obvious that interest will be gone.
"I guess I'll stay for an hour or so then I'll head home. If no one comes after an hour it should be safe to assume it's okay for me to go home." Finally arriving at the club room you unlock it only to be greeted by a huge cloud of dust. You cough to clear your throat.
"Ah… I should've really cleaned up during the summer break…" You reap what you sow. "I should clean up a bit." Since you slacked off with the cleaning during your summer vacation, now you had to clean instead of being able to read manga for the hour like you planned.
The room held a lot of memories for you. Some good, some bad, but mostly held the memories of your first love. You wanted to work hard to preserve those memories. "Finally done!" You felt proud of yourself after you were finally able to organize it again to look like a normal club room. "I bet senpai would be proud…" Just then, you felt someone standing behind you.
"Umm… Excuse me… Is this the drama club?" The frail looking girl asks you.
[ ] "Umm no, but I can show you to the drama club if you want."
[ ] "It is!" Trick her to recruit her secretly into the occult research club.

"Ah sorry." You apologize to her. Unfortunately, she got the wrong room. "This is actually the occult research club, if you want I can show you to the drama club room."
"Is that so? I am so sorry." She blushes as she realizes her mistake. "I've never been good with directions… Plus this school is so much bigger than my last one so it's hard to navigate!" The way she spoke so politely and softly made her stick out. You knew right away that she isn't from the city.
"I'm Anon by the way, a second year and the president of the occult research club." You stick out your hand to her.
She shakes it softly as she introduces herself. "I'm Nagi, first year." Just like that you meet your first underclassman. She wasn't too bad as well, she was cute and polite.
"Nice to meet you." You smile at her. "Let's go to the drama club shall we?" On your way to the drama club room you try and make conversation with her.
[ ] "So Nagi, what got you interested in the drama club?" Try and get to know her.
[ ] "You know Nagi… If this drama club thing doesn't pan out you should try the occult research club!" Try and recruit her for your upperclassman.
