The thing that the robot did well and the reason so many robots love it so much is it forced you to put thought into each post which made even mundane threads and the same regurgitated circlejerks high quality. Granted you could just post blox to get around it but there was a time where that was a bannable offense. Also it was a good newfag filter and gave /r9k/ something that separated it from /b/
