Something noted out of mere observation is that people with girlfriends tend to be interesting, outgoing and most importantly, happy. I personally feel that I must give off a sad, disinterested vibe without even knowing. If you want a girlfriend, the physical aspects are important but to take it further you have to make that person want to be in your life which is helped by being interesting/outgoing. I'm not saying it'll be easy though and I don't feel its worth it.
