I wouldn't recommend wearing an animal mask. Bought one for a Halloween costume; it didn't sit right and it was hard to see out of it. I wouldn't recommend being a vigilante either: you can't press R to Restart IRL.

To go on a tangent: I really like the posters El Huervo made for the games. I have them both hung on my wall and I've been looking at them for a very long time to come up with my own interpretations for them.

You see: I think both of those posters, as their own paintings, are about masculinity.

The first one's poster has Jacket standing square and tall, holding a defenseless girl in one hand and a weapon in the other. The weapon is less prominent and further away from the fourth wall than the girl and this signifies that he values the safety of this girl over the carnage he must cause in order to protect her.

The girl is naked and hangs limp from his arm: symbolizing her indignity and despair. Upon closer inspection of the girl's arm: you can see that she has spider bites from heroin abuse but the hero supports her in spite of her flaws and vulnerabilities.

Speaking of vulnerabilities: we come to the poster for hotline miami 2. This poster is the antithesis of HM1's artwork. While that painting was about Male Strength, this one is about Male Vulnerability.

The subject in this poster wears a pair of glasses. His right lens is unbroken and the eye shielded behind it is unblemished and wide open. The left lens is shattered and the eye behind it has a thousand yard stare and sore from many sleepless nights. The right eye signifies horror as witnessed by the naive youth seeing it for the first time after living a sheltered life while the left signifies horror as witnessed by the world-weary veteran who has seen it once too many times but had no choice but to see it countless times.

Both posters are yin and yang to each other: Male Strength, Male Vulnerability. They are companion pieces for a positive depiction of masculinity.

Rugby protective gear, it sits tight and won't hinder your movement like regular helmets.

It won't stop a bat, but it will make the difference from being blacked out from a punch to the head to staggered.

Also you can wear a beanie over it, throw a bandana in and the headgear will be almost concealed, you don't want people recognizing you.

I am currently learning krav maga for a different reason but being a full time dedicated vigilante sounds rough. I'm scared of knives not so much guns because for some reason they seem like they would inflict more pain. Also if you fuck with the wrong people (anyone who survives or feels vengeful) you're pretty much fucked. It's really easy to find people these days. So no, I would never chose this path. Seattle police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspected serial masturbator who publicly pleasures himself while disguising his identity with a makeshift ninja outfit.

Cops first learned of the masked pervert in January, after a woman called 911 to report that a man was “masturbating outside the front door of her home.” Cops responding to the scene were unable to locate the suspect.

Last month, a night vision camera outside the woman’s residence recorded the suspect again pleasuring himself next to the front door. Not sure. Hard to tell because I don't know your build or training or where you would be operating or what your motivation is.

Are you serious about this or is this more of a "superheros are cool and it would be cool to be a superhero" kind of thing? It's OK if it is (I'm not gonna judge you) we've all been down that line of thinking at one time or another. But you need to be aware that how things play out in pictures and comics ain't how they go down irl.

So if you are just looking to patrol the streets looking for evildoers to fight, I'd advise against it. Your chances of finding a crime in progress and having the opportunity to stop it are slim. Your chances of getting ambushed by someone asking if you know what time it is before he pulls a gun on you are much better.

The best you can hope to accomplish patrolling the streets like phoenix jones is maybe getting in a fight with an aggressive drunk or junkie and being lucky enough not to have the cops called.

Also be aware that the pigs cops hate competition and if someone calls them you will likely be arrested for whatever reason they can think up (assault, disorderly conduct, mischief, trespassing, battery, etc) because they don't like the idea of civilians cutting in on their action.

Don't get me wrong. Carrying around SAP gloves and a taser/pepper spray is a good idea if you are going out at night or passing through a dangerous neighborhood on foot. But if you are going for the whole vigilante thing it's better to refer to >>117323 and plan out your actions.

You can for example, do more damage to criminals by say throwing a Molotov into a drug house after you have blocked the building exits off, than you could do by tazing a few drug dealers.

It's all about what you are trying to accomplish and how far you are willing to go.

So to reiterate if you are afraid of getting messy it's best to just leave it to the professionals. Carry a mobile phone with you and report crimes in progress that you see. That will accomplish far more (maybe, depending on how fast the cops are) than trying to fight a one man crusade. If you want to go lone wolf you gotta go big and you gotta be discreet and willing to go outside of the law.
