My brother is some commie mangina that dropped out of school in 9th grade, yet now he's 21 and owns his own restaurant, has a house and a girlfriend that loves him, a massive social circle of friends that always seem to support him, and got to experience my father as a kid before he started drinking and hitting my mom. He's the favourite among my grandparents despite the fact that he never talked to them for years on end, and even got the opportunity to travel the world on their dollar. I'm more fit than him at my age, I'm smarter, I don't disappear for months at a time, I don't drink and I don't do drugs yet I'm told by my dad that I'm a disappointment for not having "pretty girlfriend". I hate him the most because of all the opportunitys he got yet brushed away.

i was at walmart an hour ago buying groceries. two girls my age were walking around the store too. while i was riding home on my bicycle, they passed me in their car and said something to me out of the window like they were expecting a response, but i had my earphones in so i couldn't hear what they were saying, so i just glanced at them and then continued looking forward. they were probably just saying something meaningless like "hey we saw you at walmart", but i'll never know if it was something that could have lead to something more, like "my friend thinks your cute and wants to go out on a date" or something equally unlikely.
