My favorite are the perique American Spirits, but those are pretty hard to find since moving to Germany. My current go-to is the Lucky Strike straight dark variety, which is nearly as good. I've only ever smoked 1 or 2 cigs a day, though, and I'm taking more of a liking to nasal snuff recently. Bernard Postillion is pretty based.

i smoke a pipe and the occasional cigars, cigarets are gross and are more likely to cause health problems. cig smokers are constantly trying to chase that first high and will smoke the nastiest tasting shit cut with embalming fluids to get it. if your going to smoke i seriously suggest you get a corn cob pipe, a sweet tasting aromatic pipe tobacco blend, by the time you get good at keeping it lit you'll know if you want to keep doing it.
i only smoke like once every to weeks but i haven't taken to smoke in almost 3 months. its nice and you can start conversations with it but its not going to really do anything impressive.

You don't get a "high" so much as a feeling that all your muscles are relaxing (if you take a big drag). In small amounts it can act as a stimulant and help you focus. Nicotine's cool in that it has opposite effects based on amount.
Personally, I just like the taste and smell of it, which is why I stick to comparatively higher-end cigarettes. Cigars and pipe smoking are okay, but much more of a time commitment. (and you don't inhale those, only taste them, so you lose the relaxant property)
