I'm sure a couple robots here practice the greatest form of escapism afforded to us in this shitty existence.

Share your experiences, pleasures, and woes related to LD ITT.

Don't shit up this thread with talk of OBEs, Astral Projection, and other basic bitch New Age bullshit.

why would anyone do this? Dreams should be private thing that no one, not even the cia niggers will ever get to see your dreams.

I could never have a dream sleeping normally at night, but whenever i take a nap, multiple dreams in a row. However, as soon as i realize im in a dream, i would wake up immediately. Also dont sleep with your chest on the pillow, or you will choke and find yourself gasping for air.

>I could never have a dream sleeping normally at night

You probably do have dreams but don't remember them. Start a dream journal, write down any thoughts or emotions you had upon waking up. You might snag the remnants of a dream.

>whenever i take a nap, multiple dreams in a row. However, as soon as i realize im in a dream, i would wake up immediately.

Yeah, I have a shit ton of dreams in midday naps. For the waking up immediately bit, make sure you stabilize the dream via rubbing your hands and demanding (mentally or yell it out) clarity in your dream.

I have really bad memory in the morning so I can never remember to keep up on my diary. Dreams are really cool though, especially when they have a logic of their own. I've had dreams where I was intensely working on some math problem and I was very excited to solve it because it would change the world, and after I wake up I'll rush to write it down only to realize it makes no fucking sense. But in the dream it seemed so clear. Even with waking imagination it's hard to escape the laws of ordinary logic. Dreams are the exception. I wonder where my brain even gets the ideas for some of these dreams.

>>314665

Sometimes they're not very private and shareable. I'd say the bigger problem is that a lot if my dreams are very personalized (shit like my oldest friends or parents being completely different people but I'm still feeling the same toward them or heavily distorted versions of experiences from my past). They wouldn't be very interesting without a ton of backstory about insignificant details of my life. Even then, it's still a "had to be there" type thing. A lot of the impact of a dream seems to be emotion, not so much the actual events.

I wish there was a website where you could post your dreams and review them on plot, atmosphere, visuals, audio, etc.

>>314667

I think you have about 5-10 dreams every night, but you don't remember them unless you wake up in the middle of the dream. If you sleep very light or get woken up often by noise or discomfort, you'll often remember several dreams. Napping is usually a lighter sleep so you can have more dreams. I believe the scientific explanation is that dreams happen during REM, which is also the phase of sleep closest to wakefulness. So if you're in REM, you're likely to have dreams, and also likely to wake up.

I spend all of my time doing the same shit over and over again inside my small house. The only time I ever have dreams anymore is on the rare occasion that I do something out of the ordinary. Its been so long since i've had a real visceral dreams.

I lucid dream a lot. It's great knowing you are dreaming and can do whatever you want, you even feel it like it's really happening. I use my skill to mostly rape girls and girl children. It's so fucking hot. Forcing them to fuck, forcing them to succ. Even forcing them to deep tongue kiss and actually feeling it like it's all real

You probably do have dreams, you just don't remember them. As soon as you wake up in the morning, don't even move. Keep your eyes closed, and try to recall everything about your dream that you can. Try to develop a sort of mental checksheet of questions to ask yourself. Then write down everything that you can remember in a dream journal that you keep by your bed. Record any vivid details, recurring characters, intense emotions, something that seems out of place, anything. It's important to do this very soon after waking up, because as they day goes on you're more and more likely to forget your dreams.

If you do this consistently for a month or so, it'll become a habit and you'll start improving your recall. Then you can find common themes in your dreams by reviewing your journal. If you can recognize one of these themes while dreaming, you'll become lucid.

Glad I saw this thread. I had a lucid dream last night for the first time in many years. In my dream I was in a different place than where I stay, and I realized suddenly that there was no way it could be real. I did a reality check but it didnt really help, but even then I knew through reason that this had to be a dream I was in. Remembering all my previous experiences, I began to focus and try to stay in the dream. There were two people in the apartment with me, a guy and a girl. I couldn’t actually see them though, they were in an adjacent room or they would talk right behind me into my ear. I walked down the hallway and the girl was singing a song, and I heard her getting closer and closer to me from behind. The weird thing is, I could only move forward. No matter how hard I tried to turn my head the other way to look backwards, my neck wouldn’t let me. I could use my arms but suddenly i lost all coordination and couldn’t move anymore. I woke up after that.

Very strange experience, it was so vivid and detailed, truly like being in an alternate reality. I hoped desperately for another lucid dream but I didn’t have anymore.

That's what meditation is for.

Lucid dreaming is for raping the shit out of Stacy. It's most helpful in summer, when all the roasties run around barely wearing any clothes or bras. It's goddamn hell to even go shopping. You need a release somewhere.

I was lucid dreaming couple of days ago

I went to a bar with like every pornstar i wanted was there , they sat in half a circle and im in the middle to chose , the japanese actress was next to my right , so i chose her and gave her a fuck that fried a couple of my brain cells

Then i woke up

It was fucking amazing

Is there a reliable way to induce lucid sex dreams? I know it's possible to force dream signs to appear regularly, but maybe because the theme is too vague or visualizing it prevents me from falling asleep to begin with, it just hasn't worked for me.

Just like there is a reliable way to have any sort of lucid dream.

>I know it's possible to force dream signs to appear regularly, but maybe because the theme is too vague or visualizing it prevents me from falling asleep to begin with, it just hasn't worked for me.

Vagueness isn't a problem period, your subconscious will know what you mean, because, well, it is you. For not being able to sleep during visualizing, I have a hard time doing that as well. In what ways is it difficult for you? Do you not relax enough, are you too excited, or do you try too hard visualizing?

You can try focusing on methods that achieve lucidity in the middle of a dream, and form your desired dream from there. Just never spawn anything directly in front of you like GMod, at least not in the beginning, because what you wanted to spawn may straight up not appear or won't look right. Spawn small shit in your pockets; spawn large shit and people behind walls (you can also call out to your fucktoy to come to you, which I've heard is a better way of summoning people).

Thanks for your reply… actually, my experience with lucid dreams started 12 years ago and has seemed to steadily degrade in conjunction with the robot lifestyle really sinking in; quality of sleep and ability to feel at ease in general kept falling, and ironically the ability (or will) to have a satisfying escape from our reality declined when most needed.

>not being able to sleep during visualizing

I think this is the key here. At one point years ago I could manage to wake up naturally right before the main REM sleep period would begin, and simply lay back down then have a dream scene appear almost instantly before my eyes, then just work on stabilizing the dream while lucid. The WBTB method is a solid starting point, but I can't figure out why the dream entry worked so well then. I wasn't thinking of anything in particular, just observing, but it's like my brainwaves happened to be in the optimal zone at that point in my life, at that time of day (~4am) and I don't know how to get back there. Now it's either I can't fall asleep, or I fall asleep with absolutely no connection to any conscious awareness.

I'm thinking that some kind of very simple visualization might be the answer, like very lightly visualizing your hand in front of your face, or something. It probably needs to be simple and unobtrusive enough to not require too much brain activity and prevent sleep, but still enough to maintain that link of consciousness so you can reliably enter the dream lucidly.

All my dreams are fuzzy. Probably because of the medication I've been taking for years. They make being awake bearable but have taken away my vivid dreamscape. Never been able to lucid dream, though.

I suffer a lot from nightmares, and fear of those "shadowmen." After a bunch of attempts at lucid dreaming leading to normal dreams turning into nightmares, and me closing my eyes and waking myself up, I've developed the bad habit of waking myself up whenever I'm aware I'm dreaming. Anyone know how to undo this? It also fucks up with my basic bitch new age bullshit dreams too. Just yesterday I saw one of Hitler's UFOs, and I was given the choice of staying in the dream or waking up. At first I actually wanted to press forwards, and try to meet these people, but then I decided to wake up. I'd really like to be able to lucid dream again. It seems like fun to play around with. Something odd that I want to do is just tinker around and build a castle, and design the structure, interior, gardens, etc. It would be neat if you could 'save' it and reload it to continue work next time you dream.

Fucking hot. How real are we talking though? Do you feel the tightness and moistness of whatever hole you're in? Does she scream, cry, or resist? I remember having a dream where a girl was going to succ, and I felt her lips on the tip of my penis. It felt so real. Unfortunately I woke up before I could get the full thing. Hopefully I can get her to finish the job.

Your body/mind will eventually undo this by either making you wake up into a different dream or simply not letting you wake up and continuing the current dream.

Whenever I have night terrors or sleep paralysis I have to try several times to wake up. I used to be able to do it every time, but now it’s more like 1/5 times.
