sorry, i've got to share this one with you,
i was putting down robert pattison's smelly jelly fangirls on an FKA Twigs video
and my comment exploded and thus was brought to the attention
of people who took issue of my use of the word "faggot"
(which i did so with no meaning to convey homosex connotations but hey)
so anyway, the discussion stayed civil for the most part
until this utter cunt came at me with some stupid shit about how i was more of a jelly FKA twigs fan
than all the other sore cunts flocking in to warn their beloved pattison of this vicious harpy
so it went like this
them
>cry about it! the only faggot, intolerant selfish ass cunt is you! :) did u really think she was gonna stay with the 10,000 fans she had forever? poor little guy…

>talk about missing the point and misdirecting the discussion you half assed straw man cock jockey.

Ahh, that makes sense. I misunderstood the forest terminology as English slang because I'm pants on head retarded. It's more sensible now that I've taken the time to actually read the entire post chronologically. The only things you seemed to say that were British English rather than Americanized were merely simple words such as "Arse, proper, mate, etc."

"It would seem the reporting of Putin's alleged autism is geared towards working on the unspoken prejudice against those on the autistic spectrum which permeates though society, in order to slander a political opponent.
The perhaps unintended off-shoot of this is that they could be seen as arguing for the inverse - that through guilt by association to the ideological enemy, to the international "bad guy", the unreasonable despot, there must be something wrong with others on the spectrum, something irreconcilable with the general public.
And just like that you've made a new enemy.
We live in a world where we are forced to adhere to the view that non-binary genderfluid diversity is not a disease, and not a lifestyle choice, but simply another way of being. Yet unquestionably, everyone (including many on the spectrum) accept that high-functioning autism is a disorder.
Note, this is feminist agenda, articulated no better than by Simon Baron-Cohen, academic, feminist, Jew, with his Empathizing-Systemizing "Theory".
His theory purports that men tend towards the systemizing, women towards the empathizing. I won't touch on how his crude, biased (mis)understanding of empathizing skews his theory (even in the case of Autists), but the upshot of his theory is that the extreme systemizing, hypermale brain "may be symptomatic of Asperger's", et voila, the psychology of the male is labeled a disorder."

I just listened to it again and I don't think I burped. I was taking a gulp of water a couple of times. My burps would've been a lot louder.

There's not much to touch upon really, he just deliberately conflates two types of empathizing into one entity.
The times he has admitted there are, seem to have been lost to the sands of obscurity!
As someone who's read and tracked Cohen for years (including reading his word-salad popular science book on empathy, which is nearly all speculation and devoid of studies bar his own) I can say he is the singlehandedly most averse-to-accountability academic I've ever had the unfortunacy to know of; pulling quotes that make autists look sympathetic from circulation, working with that idiot Attwood to ret-con his statement on autistic suicide so that he could ''agree' with Grandin's mother's speculative essay on the 'autistic, paedophillic, human-computer rapist', when he previously did not explicitly outright say anything of the sort.
Cohen is a bully, alien to the proper conduct of discourse, who browbeats his colleagues and the media into a frenzy of ferverous disdain for the autist, even if they are also advised in a caveat by him not to be too public with this, for true to the ways of the Talmud, "even our enemy is our friend" (referring to the neurodiversity movement, who they actually despise but see as useful idiots).

Neurodiversity is indeed a moronic enough ideology that I would never recommend anybody adhere to it, for that would be falling indirectly into the hands of the Cohenim clan. In affiliating with the public face of neurodiversity ala Grandin, you also affiliate with its private face, being the fiery shekinah of his desire to see the autist race set alight in revenge for the inquity wrought upon his race by the biggest "autist" of them all, Hitler, the original hypermale.

Oh fug, sorry. I just saw the flag and it always pops "England" into my head. I'm not familiar with the country that both of you reside in, although I'm fairly certain that you're Scottish

not that I pay attention to your posts o-or anything

And I honestly attempted for about half an hour earlier to create a vocaroo, however I wasn't certain what to read. I felt like I'd read both your and Autphags responses, however, to be completely honest with you, I fumbled on a few words and kept getting embarrassed and frustrated and ultimately decided that since you both read your own OC I should provide the reading materials from myself.

I concluded that I wasn't well versed in the topic or had any outsider knowledge on Putin having Aspergers or the political stances of Cohen so I decided it'd be silly to attempt to formulate my own response to your discussion.

Therefore, I looked for things ranging from a 50 Shades of Gray parody paragraph generator to pissy TheEnforcer posts and eventually gave up because a) I was too nervous to speak properly, b) drinking soda made my throat sound strange and c) the paragraphs had profanity in them and I refuse to expose my young sister to that sort of obscene language (and I live in a tiny house with thin walls).

So, yeah, um, if you can find something for me to read then I'd gladly read it off for you

I'm Scottish, yes, but my accent is English having lived their and grown up there for far too long before returning to Scotland.
Autphag has been fully brought up in Scotland, so his accent is Scottish.

And don't worry about stumbling on your words. Like I said, I stumbled on words trying to read other peoples' writing so I just found some of my own. It's by-the-by that it happened to be on Putin's autism, you don't have to try and make a response to it like Autphag did.

The problem with me trying to find something for you to read is if you have the same problems as me, I might give you yet more writing you'd mash your words over.

I honestly think the best way to hear your natural voice would be for you to just write something - anything - no matter how unsubstantial it is.

My accent has been variously described by other Scots as an 'accentless Scots accent'. That is, it's closer to standard English, some of it contrived, than colloquial, dialectical Scots.

My mother was raised in Morningside before moving to the ghetto in West Lothian, so she has the same accent. It's meant to be gentrified and upper-middle class. It's also what my grandfather ended up talking like, 10-20 years after his emigration from Poland.

My dad's side of the family have junkie-like towerblock-lumpenprole accents typical of Broomhouse and Wester Hales; only my younger sister, strangely enough, speaks like this.

Aw cute, I'm learning so much about you
N-not that I'll do anything with this information
:^)
My biggest issue with your paragraph was that I wasn't breathing properly since a bit of your sentences had a strange rhythm to me. Autphag's paragraph, of course, I couldn't read because I had trouble with a bit of the words. Normally it wouldn't be an issue but all of his posts are just word salad so it's an uncommonly used lengthy word after uncommonly used lengthy word. I gave up on the word "ideology" since for some reason I just cannot pronounce it in a way that sounds appropriate to me.

I read an excerpt from one of my essays although I paused the recording at one point (like 25 seconds in or so) so it switched the volume a bit and then while listening it seemed to make it fluctuate again, so who knows.

I also read the first three pages of The Giggler Treatment. It sounds really cute honestly from the description, I'm tempted to buy it for my younger sister as well. The only thing that'd make this book 11/10 would be if Mister Mack's wife was named Miss Mary. http://vocaroo.com/i/s1Q299nFxpTD

To be honest I initially presumed it was going to be a "Warning" sign found at his work with some relevance to the story, however I didn't proofread and ended up reading it and only realized a bit in that it was addressing American readers. Scotland is so teensy though, it's hard to think that there would be such a wide variation in dialect based on the region. I mean it's the size of a really tiny state in America, like South Carolina.

There are about 10 different prole dialects in the Central Scotland region alone (which is an area with a population of about 3-4 million, where most of the major cities are like Glasgow and Edinburgh), about 5 or 6 of which are just variations of the predominating dialects in both those cities. Even the Borders region that borders (as the name implies; it has a population of about 300,000) England has its own slang dialect, which I managed to pick up a few terms from while there.

This is not even counting the Highlands (the remaining 700,000 people), which has a bunch of tiny different Gael-Norse creoles mixed with prole slang, all spoken by about 20k speakers or less each.

I participated in the silly acting divisions rather than in the stuffy debating ones since I only joined to become less anxious/take away my fear of public speaking/being noticed.

I participated in three events per tournament (Humorous Interpretation, which is basically choosing a play and acting out as all of the characters by myself to tell that play. These are hilarious to watch and super fun to act out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sd0UYrf5jrg ; Prose, which is just pretty much "reading" a story in a black book [you don't actually read it hopefully, you're supposed to be familiar with it by the time you get to competitions] and mine was actually supposed to make people cry (protip: it did) however they're varied. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQZtw6BgGGU ; My last performance was improvisational duo which is shitty because it relies on both you and your partner to work together and to be able to improv well (never do this with your best friend) It's basically this except for you only get three minutes to prepare rather than an unlimited amount of months beforehand and it's usually horrid lel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEwhcGj27YI)

tl;dr I had tons of practice for a year and my team ended up winning every competition including State that year. It's what helped me learn a lot about how to control my voice and get over my fear of public speaking, although I haven't had practice in two years and my throat is kinda scratchy because soda (You don't drink soda around tournament time, ever. It has to be water or you can risk ruining everything lel)

I cannot understand this at all lmao it sounds like they're speaking a different language most of the time. Something about heroin taxis to get to a party, I dunno.

the guy in that first video seemed to have promise, but then he outed himself as a jew… nahh, anyway his humour seemed to rely far too much on repetitive sound effects and impressions to beef out what little substance was in his piece. he also came across as overly sentimental and not that… grounded in reality. having said that, maybe there really is a big difference in how kids grow up on either side of the pond.
i just found it surprising how even though he was concentrating on the loser, it still seemed to be the hollywood's take on the loser.

the second guy… don't really have anything to say. sure, it works as a piece of prose but i didn't really find it interesting to listen to.

oo, the third one caught my attention. i recognise that song. i wonder why she used it.

anyway, your point wasn't the content of each category, rather their general outline and how they aided you in developing your voice.

The reason I posted that Yorkshire vid was because of its heavy use of dialect. I disagree with you saying it's boring, but I guess that's just personal taste.

Here's another vid for yorkshire accent.

Yee I only skimmed them to see if they showed the sections properly, the only one I've fully watched is the Metamorphosis and that was a brilliant interpretation of what Kafka was trying to express, I felt.

I can't understand Sean Bean either, his interviewer speaks with clarity however he most certainly does not.

I have a poor time understanding accents. I was born and raised in many small towns around Kentucky which is really a border state on the North/South or the Midwest and the Southern states, sometimes people consider it Southern, others do not (as a long time resident, I will assure you it is most DEFINITELY a Southern state.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbJZt5xLJs0

That's about as thick as the accents go there. Then I moved around in Freshman year to California, where people talk a bit faster and crisper and are just…I dunno, completely different people (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YF7V4xZdH8). Sophomore year was back in Kentucky, Junior year was in Vancouver, Washington which was right across the river from Portland (basically just watch Portlandia to get an idea of what it's like- it's an eerily accurate but slightly over-exaggerated depiction tbh lel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCHAcplVurQ) And now I'm in Indiana which is just generic America.png

Point being I've never really been exposed to very thick accents in the slightest and therefore can't really understand people who speak with them.
