You can try as hard as you want to argue a legitimate case for it, voting doesn't matter. At the lower fields of influence, where power can be allowed room for the structure of social balance, voting can marginally affect the meta narrative.
At the upper stratum, influence is dominated by interest groups and corporate unions. Power governs not by the activities of the people but by the mechanics of the political machine. It runs through all fusions of our life, intermediating itself throughout the potential of class-based mobility, i.e. the ability of acquiring physical and conceptual [certificate, notification] commodities of progression.
Ergo, the power which truly manipulates social opinion lays at maintaining a grasp upon the sociopolitical basis of existence. The cost of codification, when equalized with the ability to openly survey and dominate expressive behavior, denotes the impossibility of actualized political influence by characters of political praxis.
In the end, it is conscious being that surpasses political praxis.
