A group of veterans and concerned citizens, who've been patrolling the border for five years, are now turning their focus on what they believe are new threats to America.

"There's Palestinians, Afghans, Syrians trying to get in. We are trying to stop everything and anything from coming across," said Tim Foley, the field operations director of Arizona Border Recon.

Many of the members used to serve in the United States military. All, however, are worried about the possibility of a terrorist coming to the United States through the U.S.-Mexico border.

"We have the war on drugs and the war on terror and it seems that they are combining right here on the border," said Foley. "We're not a militia, we're not a three percent group, we do not advocate overthrowing the government . . . we are an extra set of eyes and ears for Border Patrol."

Every few months, the group meets to patrol the Arizona, Mexico border for seven days and seven nights. They set up a six to nine mile perimeter, in order to push those attempting to come across illegally, into territory with a higher Border Patrol presence.

"When your friends come to your home, they come to your front door, not your back window," said Foley.

These veterans believe patrolling the border is another way they can continue to fight for their country.

A Call for Patriots to Stand with Governors against Islamic Invasion of Their States

Governors of thirty-one states have stood up to declare their support for the safety of their resident citizens, their commitment to the national security of the united States and their State, and to support the founding tenets of this nation by refusing to accept unvetted masses of individuals into the nation. Because of the vocal opposition of the people of the united States and the opposition of governors to his premise, Barack Hussein Obama publicly humiliated, impudently mocked, and chastised the entire population of the united States of America in front of numerous news cameras and world leaders. As citizens, we can no longer sit on the sidelines, in armchairs and behind keyboards writing our suits in Washington, DC, who demonstrate day after day they do not represent the citizens and violate their oath of office. It is time we show our support for our governors who have taken a stand to protect their resident citizens. It is time to declare that we consider this nation a constitutional republic as established in the Constitution of the united States of America, meaning we reject dictatorial edict and threats issued by a lawless, criminal man occupying the office of the presidency.

It is time for Barack Hussein Obama to understand the depth of conviction the people of this nation have for our nation’s security, economy, and safety by making it known that our form of government does not allow one man to authoritatively dictate edicts of action to our nation, assume the role of dictator or ignore laws established to protect us from instability, attack and an internal conflict on our soil.

As Former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton has indicated, the united States is under no obligation to bring any “refugees” into this nation. The United Nations 1951 Convention and Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees, amended 1967, does not apply to “those for whom there are serious reasons for considering they have committed war crimes or crimes against humanity, serious non-political crimes or are guilty of acts contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.” (page 4, 1st paragraph, 2nd sentence) Because of the inability to establish the nation of origin, the exact identities and history of these individuals, including criminal backgrounds, to accurately confirm the lack of participation in any events listed above, the Convention does not apply, which relieves the united States from any obligation to relocate any individual designated or claiming to be a “refugee” into this nation. Moreover, the United Nations violated the tenets of the convention by not holding the country of first asylum to provide assistance as outlined in the Convention: food, shelter, sanitation and medicine in refugee camps.

Reports of crimes against native European women and children have increased dramatically in Europe meaning an infusion of a criminal element within the masses of individuals exists producing a concern regarding public safety should mass numbers of these individuals enter our nation. European nations are discarding their citizens, evicting them from their own residents in favor of the invasion force dubbed “refugees,” and refusing to maintain public order.

The citizens of the States, where governors have taken a stand in support of safety and public interest and against the relocation of unvetted, unknown individuals into the communities by the Obama administration, should stand with our State leaders. The mass numbers of individuals Obama has determined to bring to our nation, consisting of a majority of young Muslim males as seen in Europe, constitutes an invasion of the several States perpetrated by a lawless, criminal president amounting to treason. As European governments strategically placed invaders of sufficient numbers to constitute a majority in some towns and municipalities, Obama intends to do the same without consent of the States or the free people occupying cities and towns in the US.

Texas has gone to federal court in its efforts to keep Syrian refugees out of the state, filing suit against the federal government and a refugee resettlement nonprofit.

In a lawsuit filed Wednesday afternoon in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Attorney General Ken Paxton claims the federal government and the International Rescue Committee — one of about 20 private nonprofits that have a state contract to resettle refugees in Texas — are violating federal law by moving forward with the planned resettlement of two Syrian families.

One is expected to arrive in Texas as soon as Friday, according to a family acquaintance.

The lawsuit argues that the federal government and resettlement group have not fulfilled their contractual obligations to consult with, and provide information to, state officials.

It argues that federal officials violated the Refugee Act of 1980, which requires that the federal government “shall consult regularly” with the state regarding the placement of refugees. Texas also alleges that the International Rescue Committee violated a separate provision of the act requiring the nonprofit work “in close cooperation and advance consultation” with the state.

The suit, filed in the Dallas-based federal court, asks for a temporary injunction barring any Syrian refugees until terms of the contract are met. The case has been assigned to U.S. District Judge David C. Godbey, a George W. Bush appointee.

Sheriff Joe Calls on Armed Civilians To Curb Terrorism: Government Won't

Draw your weapons.

That's what Sheriff Joe Arpaio is urging nearly a quarter-million Arizona gun owners to do to fight terrorism and mass shooters.

On Tuesday, the so-called "Toughest Sheriff in America" said he cannot guarantee the public's safety and called on them to take matters into their own hands if necessary.

"I'm just talking about the areas where you have large crowds and someone pulls out the gun and starts shooting. Maybe somebody with a concealed weapon takes the guy down," Arpaio said.

Specifically, Arpaio was looking to the 250,000 Arizonans who carry concealed weapons permits to help keep the peace.

Arpaio referred to the terrorist group ISIS, or ISIL, as a reason gun owners should be on the lookout. He also spoke about the Colorado man accused of killing three people at the Planned Parenthood last week.

Had someone been armed, the sheriff said, maybe he or she could have stopped the shooter.

The federal government has decided not to place any Syrian refugees in Texas this week but now is planning to bring 21 of them to the state next week, according to a new plan disclosed Friday morning.

Under the plan, which was disclosed in a court filing as part of a lawsuit filed by state officials seeking to block the refugees, the six-person family whose scheduled arrival sparked the legal action will remain in New York City over the weekend, instead of coming to Dallas on Friday as originally planned. The family will instead fly to Dallas on Monday, and another six-person Syrian family will fly to Houston that same day. Then, nine more Syrian refugees will be brought to Houston on Thursday.

Overall, the 21 refugees include 12 children between the ages of 2 and 15, as well as two grandparents, according to the court filing. Four of the other seven refugees are women.

If the plan is allowed by the judge overseeing the lawsuit, it will mark a dramatic increase in the number of Syrian refugees placed in Texas in defiance of Gov. Greg Abbott's opposition due to security concerns.

There were 24,486,536 tourist, business and other arrivals in the U.S. from residents of the 38 friendly nations on the U.S. Visa Waiver Program. Since Obama took office, the number of visas issued per year to non-friendly, non-waiver residents has jumped by over 50 percent to 9,932,480 last year.

The fastest-growing sector of the program is the “Fiancé Visa” program, known as “K-1,” which jumped from 30,290 in 2013 to 41,488 in 2014. San Bernardino terrorist Tashfeen Malik was one of them.

Referred to as the “mail order brides and grooms” category, there are at least 10 online companies that arrange 90 day fiancé visas at very low cost.

The activity has become so popular that in 2014 The Learning Channel launched a TV series called 90 Day Fiancé that tracked people each week from around the globe who were trolling on Facebook to arrange a marriage proposal as a backdoor into America.

ISIS would have known that the show generated 69,761 Facebook likes, and that one episode imported a potential groom, named Alexi, from war-torn Ukraine.

The 90-day fiancé visa supposedly requires a passport, police certificates from the country of residence, medical examination records, evidence of financial support, and evidence of meeting and having a relationship with an American fiancé. But the Obama administration streamlined the process so that it can all be accomplished completely online.

A Texas sheriff expressed concerns that the federal government’s plans to bring large numbers of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) from the border to the campsite located southwest of Dallas will become a “small city.” The children are illegal immigrants mostly from Central America who have recently crossed the border during the latest surge.

Nearly 500 UACs are scheduled to arrive in the next few days at the Lakeview Camp and Retreat Center located near Waxahachie, Texas, a report on Texas Police News states. 400 workers were expected to arrive on Thursday and the children are expected to follow along shortly thereafter.

Now, according to a report from Breitbart a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) whistleblower, just revealed that there’s a group of Muslims that Obama considers “off-limits” to Homeland Security.

The DHS whistleblower, Philip Haney says that the Obama administration does not want to monitor Tablighi Jamaat (TJ), an Islamist movement whose members have been linked to terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda and which has a strong presence in the United States.

Haney revealed that a DHS investigative initiative, shut down by the Obama administration, had tied TJ adherents who had traveled to the United States “to Hamas, al-Qaeda, global terrorist funding… every version of however you define terrorism… financial, direct support, overseas affiliation…”

In 2002, the FBI suspected that al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden was providing support to Tablighi Jamaat.

Haney proclaimed that President Obama’s DHS, out of concern for the “civil liberties” of the TJ network, killed the initiative even after 1,200 law enforcement actions, ranging from visa revocations to orders of deportations, were amassed against members of the movement in just the first year of the six-year effort that started in 2006.

Tablighi Jamaat members have been involved in Islamic terrorist operations, including some in the United States, where the FBI reportedly predicts nearly 50,000 people are associated with the movement.

TJ-associated mosques are operating across the United States, including in the states of California, Texas, and New York, according to Stratfor Global Intelligence.

State Department Sued Over Smuggling Terrorists Into the US

A conservative legal watchdog is suing the State Department to obtain documents about its work with aid organizations to resettle 'refugees' (known terrorists) in the United States.

Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit, months after failing to obtain the records through a Freedom of Information Act request.

In a statement, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said that the administration’s failure to respond to its request is proof “that the Obama administration has something to hide about refugees, terrorism, and national security.”

“The Obama administration doesn’t want Americans to know about how it places refugees from terrorist states in their local communities,” Fitton said.

In particular, the conservative group is seeking to obtain agreements between the State Department and the nine voluntary organizations that help to place refugees within the U.S.

Judicial Watch has also asked for transcripts of hearings about services for the refugees with officials from the State Department, the Department of Health and Human Services and the aid organizations, as well as data about refugees resettled in the U.S. from 2013 to 2015.

Obama Regime Approves 3 Million New Illegal Immigrant Jobs in One Year

At least 3 million foreign nationals were granted work permits, work visas, and green cards in 2013, with most being granted to individuals from Mexico, China, and India, according to the most recent data issued by the Congressional Research Service.

While the 2014 numbers have not been disclosed, recent statistics provided to Congress reveal that work permits continued to be issued at record numbers, according to congressional sources and statistics provided to the Washington Free Beacon.

This includes about 1 million green cards with work authorization, 1 million employment-based nonimmigrant visas for foreign workers, and 1.2 million work-permit authorizations for foreign nationals.

The disclosure of the ongoing uptick in visas and green cards comes amid a larger debate on Capitol Hill about tightening immigration restrictions in light of recent terror attacks and concerns about the U.S. workforce.

The total number of foreign workers in the United States stands at 26 million as of 2014, according to numbers issued by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

“All foreign nationals who gain lawful permanent resident status in the United States are eligible to work, regardless of what preference category or class they entered through,” according to a congressional research memo obtained by the Free Beacon.

These numbers are likely to increase in the next year as Congress prepares to approve a sprawling funding bill that critics say will do little to alter Obama administration plans to boost work permits and visas, as well as permit some 10,000 Syrian refugees to relocate to America.

More than 30 Immigrants Admitted to the US Recently Implicated in Terrorism

In advance of the release of Congress’ year-end spending package, the office of

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) is highlighting some terrorists who were recently granted access to the U.S. through the nation’s immigration system.

In an email to reporters Tuesday, a Sessions aide listed more than 30 examples of immigrants admitted to the U.S. who were recently implicated in terrorist activities.

Sessions, the chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest, and other conservative lawmakers have warned against passing a spending bill that does not place limitations on admissions — in particular refugee admission — to the U.S.

“Congress must cancel the President’s blank refugee check and put Congress back in charge of the program. We cannot allow the President to unilaterally decide how many refugees he wishes to admit, nor continue to force taxpayers to pick up the tab for the tens of billions of unpaid-for welfare and entitlement costs,” Sessions and

Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL), the chairman of the Commerce, Justice, and Science Appropriations subcommittee, said in a joint statement last week.

The pair added that passing the spending deal without limiting language “would put the U.S. on a path to approve admission for hundreds of thousands of migrants from a broad range of countries with jihadists movements over the next 12 months, on top of all the other autopilot annual immigration – absent language to reduce the numbers.”

The Sessions aide noted that the 30 examples are listed represented just a “partial” inventory of recently implicated terrorist migrants.

Buried in the 2,000-page omnibus spending bill released by the Senate Wednesday morning is a secret provision that many senators hope unemployed blue-collar workers won’t find out about.

This provision would quadruple the number of H-2B visas for low-skilled foreign “guest workers.” It would allow more than a quarter-of-a-million foreign workers to enter the U.S. each year and work in the construction industry, hotel-motel services, truck drivers, food processing, forestry and many other fields that don’t require a college education.

A vote on the spending bill is expected late Thursday night, possibly after midnight, sources on the Hill told WND.

The bill also includes funding for all of President Obama’s foreign refugee resettlement program and does nothing to stop the proliferation of so-called “sanctuary cities.”

Establishment RINOs Provide $1.6 BILLION to Resettle Illegal Immigrants Arriving at Border Through 2018

A massive appropriations bill expected to be approved by Congress would provide more than $1.6 billion to resettle illegal immigrants arriving at the U.S. border through 2018.

Congress would award the massive check to the government just as the U.S. is experiencing a surge in arrivals of immigrant children at the southern border. Last week, federal agencies said they were opening two temporary shelters with 1,000 beds in South Texas to cope with the surge. A 400-bed shelter is also to be opened in Southern California.

The so-called omnibus spending bill would give $1,645,201,000 through fiscal year 2018 “for necessary expenses for refugee and entrant assistance activities authorized by section 414 of the Immigration and Nationality Act and section 501 of the Refugee Education Assistance Act of 1980, and for carrying out section 462 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002, section 235 of the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008, the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 (‘‘TVPA’’), section 203 of the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2005, and the Torture Victims Relief Act of 1998,” according to its text released Tuesday.

In October and November, U.S. government data showed that over 10,500 unaccompanied immigrant children crossed the southern border with Mexico, according to the Washington Post. That number is more than double the count of unaccompanied minors that arrived at the border during the same time period last year.

Omnibus Spending Bill FUNDS More Refugee Resettlement…

The U.S. government is mostly run by just five people: Barack Obama, Mitch McConnell, Harry Reid, Paul Ryan, and Nancy Pelosi.

This week, these five pushed through a horrible Omnibus spending bill to fund the government through next September.

The bill amounts to a betrayal of American voters, especially on immigration matters.

Where do I begin to condemn this? I'll start with House Speaker Paul Ryan.

It didn't take long for Ryan to break all his promises on immigration, did it?

When he was running for Speaker two months ago, Ryan promised he would not bring up immigration bills that did not have the backing of a majority of Republican House Members.

Yet as soon as he got the chance, Ryan snuck several huge immigration giveaways into the Omnibus spending bill Congress approved today. It goes further:

Nearly QUADRUPLES the number of H-2B low-skilled foreign workers allowed in this year. This could raise the total of these workers this year from 66,000 to 264,000. Not only that…

FUNDS a large increase in Syrian and other refugee resettlement in this country. Instead of a timeout and a full security review, Congress handed Obama everything he wants.

FUNDS Obama's catch-and-release policy that virtually stops deportations.

FUNDS Sanctuary Cities, so that cities like San Francisco that refuse to turn over jailed illegal aliens to the feds will face no cut in funding.

MAINTAINS tax credits to illegal aliens in the form of the Earned Income Tax Credit. That is, if a family is poor enough, they not only pay no income tax, the government pays THEM. Yes, that includes illegal aliens! Also, Congress continues to allow illegal aliens to claim child tax credits on their tax returns.

FUNDS the continued relocation into America of the unaccompanied minors who are marching across the border into Texas and states. The numbers of these crossing the border is way up again this year.

Even with all these outrages I've mentioned, there are still MORE terrible things hidden in the Omnibus bill, which passed both the House and the Senate. A hopeful sign is that 95 House Republicans joined with 18 House Democrats, and 26 Senate Republicans joined with 6 Senate Democrats to vote NO on this monstrosity. Yet, most Republicans and most all the Democrats voted yes, and it passed.

Does anyone speak for regular, working Americans? Is anyone willing to fight for them?

A Kansas City mosque owned by an Islamic umbrella organization with deep ties to the U.S. arm of the Muslim Brotherhood has received millions of dollars in federal grants over the past several years, according to a federal spending database.

The Islamic Center of Greater Kansas City has received $2,739,891 from the Department of Agriculture since 2010, a Daily Caller analysis has found. The money largely went to the mosque’s Crescent Clinic to provide services through the Women, Infant and Children nutrition program, known as WIC.

The most recent federal payment — in the amount of $327,436 — was handed out Oct. 1.

Property records show the mosque is owned by the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), which acts as a financial holding company for Islamic organizations. It offers sharia-compliant financial products to Muslim investors, operates Islamic schools and owns more than 300 other mosques throughout the U.S.

Founded in 1973 as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood-backed Muslim Students Association, NAIT’s most controversial connection is to the 2007 and 2008 Holy Land Foundation terror financing cases. Along with other Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations like the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), NAIT was named a co-conspirator in the federal case but was not indicted.

At the Holy Land Foundation trial, evidence was presented that ISNA diverted funds from the accounts it held with NAIT to institutions linked to Hamas and to Mousa Abu Marzook, a senior Hamas leader.

Federal prosecutors introduced evidence in the case that “established that ISNA and NAIT were among those organizations created by the U.S.-Muslim Brotherhood.” Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of checks drawn from ISNA’s account and deposited in the Holy Land Foundation’s account with NAIT were made payable to “the Palestinian Mujahadeen,” which is the original name for Hamas’ military wing.

While Hamas was designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. government in 1997 and is considered the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, the larger Muslim Brotherhood is not itself designated as a terrorist group.

Gov. Greg Abbott and U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, a Laredo Democrat, pressed the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Monday to explain why the agency plans to reduce its aerial surveillance on the Texas-Mexico border.

In a letter to DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson, the lawmakers said the cut to a requested 3,850 hours of aerial detection and monitoring in 2016 amounts to 50 percent less coverage than recent years.

“Given the recent surge of migrants from Central America and Cuba along the southern border, we believe DHS should request more surveillance and security resources, not fewer,” Abbott and Cuellar wrote in a letter.

The pair also reminded Johnson that in September, Abbott’s office asked the DHS for more aerial resources and U.S. Border Patrol agents but that request was never acknowledged.

Monday’s request comes as CBP is reporting a new surge in the number of undocumented immigrants crossing the Rio Grande. From October to December of 2015, about 10,560 unaccompanied minors entered Texas illegally through the Rio Grande Valley sector of the U.S. Border Patrol. That marks a 115 percent increase over the same time frame in 2014. The amount of family units, defined as at least one child and adult guardian or parent, has increased by 170 percent to 14,336 in the Rio Grande Valley.

The El Paso sector also saw 1,030 unaccompanied minors, an increase of almost 300 percent.

In Monday’s letter, the pair also requested a detailed breakdown of how the DHS determined the reduction in aerial surveillance was warranted and information on how staffing and operation levels would be affected.

While Abbott has spoken extensively about illegal immigration from Mexico and Central America, the letter marked the first time Abbott has referenced a recent surge of Cubans coming into Texas.

Not only did the Obama administration scrub counter-terror programs of jihad and Islam, now we find out that his administration scrubbed the records of Muslim terrorists. If the enemedia were not aligned with the jihad force, this would be front-page news across the nation.

An agent of the Department of Homeland Security, or DHS, for 15 years, Philip Haney, reported Friday that after the Christmas Day underwear bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, tried to blow up a crowded passenger jet over Detroit, “President Obama threw the intelligence community under the bus for its failure to ‘connect the dots.’ He said, ‘This was not a failure to collect intelligence; it was a failure to integrate and understand the intelligence that we already had.'”

Haney revealed: “Most Americans were unaware of the enormous damage to morale at the Department of Homeland Security, where I worked, his condemnation caused. His words infuriated many of us because we knew his administration had been engaged in a bureaucratic effort to destroy the raw material – the actual intelligence we had collected for years, and erase those dots. The dots constitute the intelligence needed to keep Americans safe, and the Obama administration was ordering they be wiped away.”

What Haney discloses is truly shocking: “Just before that Christmas Day attack, in early November 2009, I was ordered by my superiors at the Department of Homeland Security to delete or modify several hundred records of individuals tied to designated Islamist terror groups like Hamas from the important federal database, the Treasury Enforcement Communications System (TECS). These types of records are the basis for any ability to ‘connect dots.’ Every day, DHS Customs and Border Protection officers watch entering and exiting many individuals associated with known terrorist affiliations, then look for patterns. Enforcing a political scrubbing of records of Muslims greatly affected our ability to do that. Even worse, going forward, my colleagues and I were prohibited from entering pertinent information into the database.”

Who gave the order to scrub the records of Muslims with ties to terror groups?

These new shocking revelations come fresh on the heels of whistleblower testimony in the wake of the San Bernardino jihad slaughter, revealing that the Obama administration shut down investigations into jihadists in America (and quite possible the San Bernardino shooters) at the request of the Department of State and the DHS’ own Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Division. Haney noted: “They claimed that since the Islamist groups in question were not Specially Designated Terrorist Organizations (SDTOs) tracking individuals related to these groups was a violation of the travelers’ civil liberties. These were almost exclusively foreign nationals: When were they granted the civil rights and liberties of American citizens?”

South Carolina has been at the forefront of the battle against President Obama’s refugee resettlement plans for nearly a year, with grassroots activists fighting not only the White House but their own Republican Gov. Nikki Haley.

Since that time, it has become apparent to South Carolina conservatives, including many who voted for Haley, that she is a supporter of Obama’s drive to convert millions of recent immigrants into “new Americans” by the time he leaves office, using not only the United Nations refugee pipeline but also a steady influx of illegal immigrants from Central America.

Haley has supported the president’s plan to bring in refugees from jihadist hotspots like Syria and Iraq, the activists say, while also quietly embracing Obama’s resettlement of illegal Central American children in their state, using the family courts to secretly place them in communities without their knowledge or approval.

So now they’re taking their battle against Haley into the courtroom, filing a lawsuit against the governor, the State Department of Social Services, and two church-based organizations that help the government transplant refugees not only in South Carolina but dozens of cities and towns across America.

The administration has decided to let immigrants with three sexually transmitted diseases known for causing sores or lesions on genitalia to enter the United States, an expansion of a previous decision to let in those with HIV.

The Department of Health and Human Services this month opened the borders to those with the STDs, deeming the communicable diseases not a big threat to the United States.

A report from the Center for Immigration Studies said that HHS does not believe that the costs to taxpayers to handle the immigrants with STDs will be significant.

Now, said the Center, the list of inadmissible communicable diseases only includes syphilis, gonorrhea, tuberculosis, and leprosy.

"So what about the costs associated with the new rule change on the three remaining STDs? Don't worry, Obama's HHS secretary ran the numbers and explained in the Federal Register that, 'The results are not economically significant, i.e. more than $100 million of costs and benefits in a single year.' In other words, the cost of welcoming in aliens with these STDs will be below $100 million every year," said the CIS report.

The website Law 360 first revealed the rules change. "Under the change, the STIs granuloma inguinale, chancroid and lymphogranuloma venereum would no longer be considered a 'communicable disease of public health significance,'" said the website. Quoting HHS, it added, "The three bacterial infections are transmitted through sexual contact, have never been common in the United States and over the past two decades are observed to be increasingly rare throughout the world."

The Obama regime had already pulled HIV off the list of diseases that bar immigrants from coming to the U.S.

Border Patrol Being Fired For Doing Their Job, Protecting Nation

Customs and Border Protection Commission R. Gil Kerlikowske told Border Patrol agents who object to President Obama’s amnesty policies that it’s time to “look for another job,” saying Tuesday that agents have to follow the orders of their superiors.

Mr. Kerlikowske was objecting to testimony last month from the Border Patrol labor union chief, who said under Mr. Obama agents have been told to restore the discredited “catch-and-release” policy from a decade ago.

The commissioner disputed that, saying every illegal immigrant over the age of 14 who is encountered by agents is supposed to be fingerprinted, interviewed and put through the usual process, including being turned over to Immigration and Customs enforcement for decisions on deportation.

“We don’t need and don’t want — and I would not stand by if the Border Patrol was — releasing people without going through all of the formalities,” Mr. Kerlikowske testified to the House Appropriations Committee.

A ranch hand working in New Mexico’s Bootheel stumbles upon men and two or three vehicles stranded in remote cattle country. They turn out to be drug runners from Mexico who take him hostage, load his vehicle with narcotics and force him to drive to Willcox, Ariz., where they leave him alive but warn him not to go to the police.

They would be watching.

That alleged incident and a host of recent break-ins have ranchers across Hidalgo County and in southeastern Arizona outraged about what they say is a decline in border security. The cattle growers associations of both states are hosting a meeting this week in the tiny town of Animas to air their grievances to elected officials – including pleas for more boots on the ground – and they expect to draw a crowd.

The Bootheel’s rugged terrain of ridges and arroyos, sparse roads and sprawling desert has historically presented challenges for law enforcement charged with keeping the region safe, particularly from illegal traffic coming from Mexico. It’s a corridor favored by traffickers moving dope north to the drug-hungry U.S. market.

The ranch hand was working for Elbrock Water Systems on the Gray Ranch on Dec. 7 when he was allegedly hijacked by drug runners, according to Tricia Elbrock, who co-owns the Animas-based company that provides well and septic services from Tucson to El Paso.

“They kidnapped him, tied him up, threw all our tools out and fittings and loaded our company vehicle with all the drugs,” Elbrock said. “They waited till dark to leave the ranch. They needed him to help guide them through to the highway.”

On the phone, Elbrock gasped back a sob as she said: “This is still pretty raw. We got him back safe. They did rough him up, but we got him back. It’s a mess. I don’t know what to tell you. We have got to have help down here.”

The FBI confirmed that it is investigating the alleged kidnapping, referred to the bureau by Border Patrol. FBI spokesman Frank Fisher in Albuquerque said no arrests have been made but declined to comment further, citing the pending investigation.

“The folks down there have never gotten any relief from illegal crossings,” said Caren Cowan, executive director of the Albuquerque-based New Mexico Cattle Growers’ Association. “And things have ramped up. These people are desperate. They are absolutely desperate. We have had countless meetings with government agencies over the years, and I say this with all due respect, all we hear about is what they are trying to do and nothing gets done.”

“The main reason for this meeting is this incident,” said Meira Gault, whose 20,000-acre ranch lies just north of the U.S.-Mexico border in Hidalgo County. “People feel they aren’t protected. Everyone is scared.”

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu denounced the Obama administration Tuesday, accusing the White House of preventing border agents from enforcing immigration laws.

Babeu, flanked by Border Patrol agents and union leaders, said high-traffic smuggling routes are not appropriately staffed and laid into the administration for failed leadership.

The sheriff denounced the politicization of immigration enforcement at a news conference at PCSO's Florence headquarters.

National Border Patrol Labor Council President Brandon Judd picked up on that theme, saying the agency is at a crossroads.

“We are either going to be a specialized law enforcement agency dedicated to enforcing our nation’s immigration laws or a political arm of the administration,” Judd said.

He said because the Obama administration failed to convince the American public to pass immigration reform, “the president is bypassing Congress by legislating through policy. These policies in essence are granting amnesty to thousands, if not millions, of persons who enter the country illegally.”

Judd alleged the administration has engaged in a campaign to mislead the American people to believe our borders are secure.

“He (Pres. Obama) has manipulated the data, had agents assigned to low traffic areas and attempted to quiet dissent by calling those who question his approach as misinformed without offering an evidence to support these allegations.”

According to figures Babeu released Tuesday, traffic of illegal immigrants in the first four months of this fiscal year is up by 25 percent. He said there’s been a 102 percent increase in unaccompanied juveniles. Babeu said.

“What we see from this administration is an actual reduction at a time we should be providing more support to secure our border,” Babeu said.

The sheriff then pointed to Border Patrol Commissioner Gil Kerlikowske and said agents “have a leader in Kerlikowske who says if they don’t agree with the Obama administration and this lawlessness that’s happening that they can go find another job.”

“Well, I have a problem with that,” Babeu said.

Babeu said 1,500 Border Patrol agents that are mandated by Congress “that are not being hired and we see a submission of another 300 Border Patrol agents that are being cut. That’s approaching almost 10 percent of our Border Patrol that is not being added to guard and defend America..”

The president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD) said that all immigration to the United States should be put on “pause” due to the potential risk it poses to national security from Muslim terrorists and foreign intelligence agents.

AFID president Zuhdi Jasser’s comments were prompted by a question about potential security threats posed by Syrian refugees from an attendee at the 2016 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

“My response to that is that we need to put a pause on all immigration, but not just say against Muslim immigration,” Jasser said.

“And I say that with family waiting, trying to come here,” he added. "And I'm trying to figure out a way to get them here. It's impossible."

Jasser’s remarks were made during a question and answer session following an address he gave on Thursday entitled “Political Islam: How Patriotic American Muslims Defy the Radical Islamists” at the annual conservative gathering, which is being held in National Harbor, Md. this year.

“And I will tell you, there is ignorance in thinking that it’s just ISIS,” Jasser continued, arguing that the security threat is not limited to Islamic extremists, but also includes foreign intelligence operatives.

“I guarantee to you [that] embedded in the refugees are intelligence operatives of [the] Assad regime, of Russia, of many operatives - Iran - that are not always just Muslim, that could include non-Muslims that we aren’t vetting,” he said.

A top Homeland Security official told Border Patrol agents the Obama regime has “no intention of deporting” many of the illegal immigrants caught trying to sneak into the country, ordering instead that they be released so they don’t clog up the courts, a leading advocate for agents testified to Congress.

Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, said the orders are a new “catch and release” policy, which he said “amounts to amnesty” because it means many illegal immigrants are never asked to leave the country.

It also suggests the Border Patrol is being ordered to break President Obama’s own enforcement priorities, which say new illegal immigrants — defined as those who came after Dec. 31, 2013 — are priorities for deportation, and are supposed to be arrested and processed. (Obama is aware of this, and has fired many officials over it.)

Mr. Judd provided his testimony in written answers released Monday by the House Judiciary Committee, saying that even in some criminal cases, agents are ordered to let illegal immigrants go without ever issuing them a Notice to Appear, or NTA, which is what puts them into deportation proceedings.

Mr. Judd said they took their case directly to Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who told them not to bother.

“Deputy Secretary Mayorkas told us that the Border Patrol needs to focus its resources towards the worst of the worst. He said that by prioritizing those we choose to deport, we will help alleviate the burden on an already overburdened court system,” Mr. Judd recalled.

“He further stated, ‘Why would we NTA those we have no intention of deporting?’ He also stated, ‘We should not place someone in deportation proceedings, when the courts already have a 3-6 year backlog,’” Mr. Judd recounted. “Since the day of this meeting, we have seen no improvements in our enforcement efforts and the morale of the Border Patrol agents is one of, if not the lowest in the entire federal government.”

Immigration agents have complained for several years that Mr. Obama has tied their hands, forcing them to release illegal immigrants who should have been easy deportation cases.

“Not only has President Obama sought to undermine our immigration laws at every opportunity possible, now his political appointees have implemented a ‘catch and release’ policy that contradicts the administration’s already weak enforcement priorities,” he said. “Rather than take the steps necessary to end the border surge, the Obama Administration is encouraging more to come by forcing Border Patrol agents to release unlawful immigrants into the United States with no intention of ever removing them.”
