The White House confirmed that President Obama was preparing a series of executive actions on gun control to match his recent passion on the issue after the latest mass shooting in Oregon.

“It’s a high priority and will continue to be until we start to see more progress on this issue in this town,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters today at the press briefing.

Earnest said he would “quibble” with anyone who criticized the president for not voicing any specific gun control proposals during his press conference, asserting that the White House was working behind the scenes for more executive actions on guns.

“I can tell you that they’re not stumped, they’re continuing to review the law that’s on the books and continuing to consult with legal authorities but also others who may have ideas about what steps that can be taken to keep guns out of the hands of criminals,” Earnest said.

He admitted, however that he had no details for what the White House was working on, but asserted that the process was a “scrub” that was “ongoing.”

Earnest welcomed Hillary Clinton’s own gun control proposals announced this morning, but admitted that he hadn’t seen the full details of the proposal.

He also pointedly criticized the “gun show loophole” for allowing criminals and people with mental problems to buy weapons, blaming organizations like the National Rifle Association for blocking action in Congress on the issue.

Hillary Clinton cited President Obama’s car buyback program “Cash for Clunkers” during a town hall event in Keene, N.H. on Friday as a possible model for a national gun buyback program that she says she would be willing to consider as president.

During the event, which was held at Keene State College, an audience member asked Clinton about Australia’s response to a 1996 mass shooting in which a gunman killed 35 people. Australia passed strict gun laws and instituted a compulsory national gun buyback program.

Through the program — which many have pointed out was actually a cleverly-disguised gun confiscation program — the Australian government, said Clinton, was “able to curtail the supply, and to set a different standard for gun purchases in the future.”

While Australia’s gun buyback program is often cited by gun control activists as a desirable model for the U.S., it often goes unmentioned that the program was actually compulsory. Australians were forced to sell back guns that the government retroactively prohibited.

On November 2, The Daily Beast pointed to recent statements from President Obama and Hillary Clinton regarding the implementation of Australian-style gun confiscation and suggested “civil war could erupt on American soil” if any administration actually tried to confiscate privately owned firearms.

The Daily Beast theoretically agreed that “confiscation on a massive scale” may be “the only way to solve American gun violence,” but they pointed out that it was not realistic and suggested Hillary risks causing irreparable divisions by talking about confiscation then mocking gun owners as conspiracy theorists waiting for “black helicopters” to come take their guns away.

According to The Daily Beast, confiscation was workable in Australia because there was no Second Amendment and the government only had to take 650,000 guns. That is a far cry from the “350 million” believed to be in Americans’ hands.

Yes, “350 million.”

But even more important than the number of guns is the depth of American “devotion” to them. And The Daily Beast observes that it is this devotion–this dedication to the philosophy and tradition underlying the right to keep and bear arms–that turns the mere mention of confiscation into something that could literally rip the country apart.

The Daily Beast put it thus, “The prospect of confiscation—as much as it might, theoretically, reduce drastically or even eliminate gun crime altogether—is simply impossible in the United States.” They pointed to statements by Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson, who stressed that Jews could have curtailed the Holocaust had they retained their guns. The Daily Beast suggests Carson hit on something “Second Amendment enthusiasts are fond of arguing,” namely, “that gun rights are enshrined in the Constitution not only for the sake of hunters or people who want to protect their homes and businesses from criminals, but also to allow the population to resist an overreaching government.”

Congressional Democrats are trying to build support for an effort to bar gun purchases by terror suspects, hoping to take advantage of the same public anxieties about security that gave Republicans a ringing House victory.

… If the Republicans who control Congress block votes on the proposal, Democrats hope to profit politically by winning sympathy from angry voters.

"By leaving this terrorist loophole open, Republicans are leaving every community in America vulnerable to attacks by terrorists armed with assault rifles and explosives purchased legally, in broad daylight," Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said Friday in a written statement.

The bill by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., would have the attorney general compile names of known and suspected terrorists, likely drawing from huge lists the government already keeps. Federally licensed gun dealers would be barred from selling firearms to people on that list if government officials believed they planned to use the weapons for terrorism.

Some credulous sorts might wonder incredulously, “What could be wrong with keeping guns out of terrorists’ hands?” But as American Thinker’s Carol Brown points out, the glaring problem is: Who will be declared a terrorist? As she writes, “The attorney general would make a list based on data the government already has amassed. Or, potentially, based on anything else for that matter. Perhaps the Southern Poverty Law Center’s [SPLC’s] list of troublesome people would serve as a guide.”

The last point about the SPLC — now working hand-in-glove with the government — is interesting because the organization has an unusual definition of “troublesome people,” one that includes me.

After I wrote a 2009 piece defending radio host Rush Limbaugh, who was prevented from buying into the St. Louis Rams due to political correctness, the SPLC put me on their “HateWatch” page. My alleged offense?

I used the word “lynched,” or a variation thereof, a few times in my article when describing the persecution of Limbaugh.

The SPLC didn’t mention that they just so happened to find me hateful shortly after I did an exposé revealing how they were using deceit to scare their supporters into donating money. Pure coincidence, though, I’m sure. But no matter. In the article about me, they also described broadcast giant Michael Savage — on whose show I appeared regularly at the time — as a “hate-radio host.” So one could wonder, given that Savage was unfairly placed on a list with terrorists and criminals by the U.K. government and was banned from entering Britain, could he be prohibited from buying guns under Feinstein’s bill? Could I? Could you?

The Left is fond of saying “One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.” Yet while usually a pronouncement born of relativism, the truth is apparently that an actual freedom fighter is a terrorist to the Left. Back in 2011 we facetiously noted that innocent Americans were being added to terror watchlists and No-Fly lists at an alarming pace. So much so, we opined, that by 2020 every person in the United States would be deemed a terrorist and that the entire world would be on a government watchlist by 2025.

We were kind of joking… but only kind of, because as we highlighted last year, the President approved a substantial expansion of the lists wherein concrete facts are no longer necessary for law enforcement and intelligence agencies to flag pretty much anyone, for any reason as being suspected of terrorism. In fact, the new rules set forth by the administration make it possible for one to be added to a watchlist for being suspected of being a suspected terrorist. Yes, it is absolutely ridiculous on its face.

As we warned, the anti-gun left and especially the Obama administration is always looking for new and innovative ways to disarm American citizens. Whether it be high taxation of ammunition, identification requirements for purchasing ammo as in California (but no worries, because you can still vote without an I.D.), or outright bans on the importation of firearms and related accessories, there is an overt and sustained push to overhaul (i.e. eliminate) the rights protected by the Second Amendment.

In what can only be described as nothing short of a full-court Obama press against America’s gun owners, in his weekly Saturday address to the nation the President has now taken his disarmament agenda to the next level, suggesting that it is “insane” for anyone on a watch list to own a gun.

So how does a person qualify as a potential domestic terrorist? According to the Department of Homeland Security here are characteristics that qualify:

• Expressions of libertarian philosophies (statements, bumper stickers)

• Second Amendment-oriented views (NRA or gun club membership, holding a CCW permit)

• Survivalist literature (fictional books such as “Patriots” and “One Second After” are mentioned by name)

• Self-sufficiency (stockpiling food, ammo, hand tools, medical supplies)

• Fear of economic collapse (buying gold and barter items)

• Religious views concerning the book of Revelation (apocalypse, anti-Christ)

• Expressed fears of Big Brother or big government

• Homeschooling

• Declarations of Constitutional rights and civil liberties

• Belief in a New World Order conspiracy

So there you have it. Millions are now on watchlists and considered "potential domestic terrorist."

And if you are one of the millions of Americans on the DHS watchlist, Obama wants to ban you from owning firearms!

A sheriff in Northeast Texas is the latest local law enforcement personality to urge the public to take up firearms in self defense.

Responding to Obama’s rare Oval Office Address Sunday, in which the president expressed a desire to curtail American gun rights, Hughes Springs County Sheriff Randy Kennedy uploaded a video commentary to Facebook defending law abiding gun owners.

“I know that there are a lot of law-abiding gun owners out there and nobody who is a legal gun owner has ever wanted to harm or kill anyone,” Sheriff Kennedy said. “But I know that we do not seek to harm or kill anyone but nor are we going to allow anyone to seek us out and kill us or do harm to our families.”

“So, I strongly encourage you to help me by arming yourselves because I know that we as law enforcement do the very best we can to protect our citizens and we do a good job,” the sheriff continued.

Sheriff Kennedy added that armed citizens are essential not only to protecting their families, but to saving law enforcement lives as well.

“I know that if the tables are ever turned on me or one of my officers that I want one of my citizens or a group of my citizens coming to our aide and rescue and I don’t want you running out of bullets and I don’t want you running out of guns before you’re able to pull our bacon out of the fire.”

The sheriff also spoke directly to President Obama, reminding him of the importance of the Second Amendment and that an attempt to confiscate Americans’ firearms would “cause a revolution.”

"If you try to disarm us, sir, then you will cause a revolution in this country to occur."

“Now, Mr. Obama, you need to understand what the Second Amendment is for. It is not for hunting. It is there for the American people to protect themselves against the criminal elements, to protect themselves from terrorists and radical ideology and it’s also there to protect us against the government that has over reached its power.

With strong resistance in Congress to gun control measures, Obama has taken to working outside his constitutional authority yet again.

But he, his pen and his phone, are not alone this time.

To bring teeth to his pending executive orders, President Obama is working to enlist the help of many of the state governors who he hopes will sign their own executive orders.

To that end, Gov. Dannel Malloy in Connecticut is taking the first plunge in this end run around that pesky Constitution and Bill of Rights. Of course, Connecticut, home to the Sandy Hook shootings, has already seen its gun rights eviscerated.

Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy plans to sign the first executive order in the nation to ban the sales of guns to people on federal government watch lists.

“We intend to prevent, by executive order through my powers as governor, those on government watch lists from obtaining a permit to purchase a firearm in Connecticut,” the fascist democrat governor said in a news conference Thursday.

Gov. Malloy also discussed his intent to take away legally-purchased guns from owners on the watch list, as well, though others in Connecticut are already questioning his legal authority to do enact any of these policies.

As SHTF explained the other day, the federal No Fly terror watch list is one of the worst instruments that could possibly be used. Firstly, it is has never stopped a terrorist from acting, though some may have been identified ahead of time.

But, more importantly, the No Fly watch list has put thousands of people on its list for reasons of mere suspicion alone – it is not based upon past crimes or direct accusations based on evidence. The practices for being added to the list are secretive, and there is virtually no way of appealing, or being taken off the list. That is despite the fact that many of the people on the no fly list – who have been barred from getting on a plane and traveling – are on the list simply because they share a last name with a suspect, or a similar name.

In short, it is a civil rights disaster that is fewer degrees away from Nazi Germany than it is from Kevin Bacon. Using this No Fly list to bar people from buying a gun – a constitutionally protected right – is compounding that problem and denying due process to Americans.

After countless mass shootings during his time as president, all of which failed to inspire the public to yield on gun rights issues, Obama has had enough with our political system.

He’s actively working to circumvent Congress, and instate the gun control measures he’s always wanted by decree. We now have a timeline for when that will occur.

White House communications director Jen Psaki told Bloomberg that within a matter of “weeks, not months” Obama will review the recommendations for executive orders he’s been given by the Department of Justice. The DOJ is currently trying to figure out what options Obama has, which could legally circumvent Congress and survive any lawsuits that gun rights groups are sure to throw at the order.

Psaki further added that gun violence is “probably the issue that has touched him most personally over the course of his presidency.” For now it’s unclear what he plans to do precisely, though he has frequently called for more thorough background checks in the past, and more recently has called for preventing people on the no-fly list from owning firearms.

According to Psaki, Obama is planning a “range of steps that can be taken as it relates to the people who have access to guns [and] how people gain access to guns,” and that he “will not be satisfied” unless some kind of action is taken on firearms before the end of his term.

While Americans anxiously prepared for their Christmas festivities, anti-gun proponents in Congress were hard at work drafting a new bill. If passed H.R. 4269 would literally redefine the Second Amendment as evidenced by the bill’s description, which in no uncertain terms clarifies its ultimate goal:

“To regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited, and for other purposes.”

The bill directly targets every semi-automatic firearm in the United Statesincluding handguns, shotguns and rifles. It specifically mentions certain firearms and manufacturers, including the popular AR-15 and AK-47 rifles.

Because the law is Federal it would blanket the country with new restrictions, including making it illegal to own any magazine that exceeds a capacity of ten (10) rounds.

And here’s the kicker, even if your weapon has a legally-defined low capacity detachable magazine but is modified with any of the following accessories, it is considered an “assault rifle” and would be outright banned in the United States.

Gun grabbing legislation going into effect in California next week will allow authorities to seize a person’s weapons for 21 days if a judge determines there’s potential for violence.

Proposed in the wake of a deadly May 2014 shooting rampage by Elliot Rodger, the bill provides family members with a means of having an emergency “gun violence restraining order” imposed against a loved one if they can convince a judge that allowing that person to possess a firearm “poses an immediate and present danger of causing personal injury to himself, herself or another by having in his or her custody or control.”

“The law gives us a vehicle to cause the person to surrender their weapons, to have a time out, if you will,” Los Angeles Police Department Assistant Chief Michael Moore told a local NPR affiliate. “It [MANDATES] further examination of the person’s mental state.”

“It’s an opportunity for 'mental health professionals' to provide an analysis of a person’s mental state.”

Second Amendment advocates have cried foul, however, and have insisted that new legislation is not the answer in a state already ripe with gun rules that are more restrictive than most anywhere else in America.

“We don’t need another law to solve this problem,” Sam Paredes, the executive director of Gun Owners of California, told The Associated Press. “We think this just misses the mark and may create a situation where law-abiding gun owners are put in jeopardy.”

Careful not to seem too angry next time you argue with your spouse. It could spell the end of your 2nd Amendment.

A California law requiring a ‘temporary’ 21-day gun confiscation of those believed to be potentially violent or mentally unstable will take effect January 1st. President Obama has pushed for similar measures nationwide.

The seized weapons will be returned only if the disarmed individual can pass a mental health screening and obtain a judge’s approval.

As you might have guessed, this will further marry the relationship between gun ownership and mental health – a major focus of President Obama’s 23 executive orders on gun control that were issued in the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting.

Getting branded as a mental case, a basket case, violent or potentially violent individual, an alcoholic, an anger management case or a host of other labels will increasingly be used to suspend the constitutional right to bear arms.

Also in the crosshairs will be millions of elderly gun owners who may be considered no longer “mentally capable” of managing their own affairs. It wouldn’t take much for dissidents, conspiracy theorists and certified cranks to be labeled crazy, and ineligible for gun ownership, either.

One of the first big groups this could affect are returning veterans, many of whom are dealing with PTSD and other issues. After fighting for our country, and being highly trained in firearms, veterans may find themselves disenfranchised as a result of issues stemming from their service!

Obama's Gun-ban Targets Social Security Beneficiaries

The White House released a fact-sheet Jan. 4 which previews the executive gun control Obama will unveil Tuesday and one aspect of the new controls is the inclusion of “information from the Social Security Administration in the background check system about beneficiaries who are prohibited from possessing a firearm.”

On July 18 Breitbart News reported on Obama’s push to ban gun-possession for Social Security beneficiaries who are believed incapable of handling their own finances.

At that same time, the Los Angeles Times reported that a ban was being put together “outside of public view,” so all the details were not known. But the Times did know that the ban would cover those who are unable to manage their own affairs for a multitude of reasons–from “subnormal intelligence or mental illness” to “incompetency,” an unspecified “condition,” or “disease.”

The ban pertaining to Social Security beneficiaries is now tucked into the “mental health” aspects of Obama’s executive gun control.

Following the Alinsky–Marx playbooks to the letter, one thing Barack Obama and complicit members of Congress have managed to do during his tenure is create suspicion, distrust and anger between Americans and the various professions they used to trust.

One of the new groups on the "outs" under Obama is police officers. Through the racial politicization of the relatively few instances where cops have used excessive and deadly force, Obama – and a compliant, Praetorian guard lamestream media – have successfully turned entire communities against the thin blue line that protects them from anarchy and chaos, even to the point where officers are getting killed more often.

Another group that Obama is set to put on the outs with Americans is doctors and other primary care providers, and he will use the issue of gun control to get that done.

As reported by Politico, the White House's new executive gun actions will empower healthcare providers to actually report gun owners they suspect of being mentally ill to the FBI's firearms background check system.

Once freedom-minded Americans learn about this, how many do you think will trust their doctors not to "out" them to federal law enforcement? How many legitimately mentally ill people who own guns will go seek treatment?

Under the rule, which takes effect next month, for the first time health providers can disclose the information to the background check system without legal repercussions.

A CNN op-ed piece by a leading gun control advocate has called on President Obama to declare a “national state of emergency” so that he can gut the Second Amendment.

Elliot Fineman, of the National Gun Victims Action Council, wants the president to follow through on his recent gun control efforts by “monitoring ammunition sales and banning those on the terror watch list from buying guns.”

This could be achieved without congressional approval by Obama enacting a “National State of Emergency (that) scares the gun lobby and pro-gun lawmakers,” writes Fineman.

In other words, Fineman is calling on Obama to use martial-law style powers in order to water down the Second Amendment and neutralize efforts by gun rights groups to oppose such a move.

“Why have you not declared a state of emergency to halt the Gun Violence Epidemic?” Fineman implores Obama.

A petition linked from the CNN article invites support for a “National Emergencies Act” that would hand Obama “the power and responsibility to declare a state of emergency when the government lacks the procedures and capacity to address an unchecked natural or man-made public health epidemic.”

The story is couched in emotional terms given that Fineman lost his son to a murderer who was able to legally purchase a gun despite previously being in a mental institution.

Fineman also demands that Obama, “force the gun manufacturers to make smart guns (guns that will only fire if the fingerprint of the owner matches the trigger) by requiring that the government only purchase smart guns.”

The Second Amendment Foundation confirmed a lawsuit has been filed against the Oklahoma Department of Human Services for two residents “whose civil rights have been deprived under color of law.”

The suit explains that the state agency’s rules prevent citizens from serving as foster parents while “legally possessing functional firearms for personal protection.”

“This mandate for foster parents is not just restrictive, it’s ridiculous,” said Alan Gottlieb, founder of the the Second Amendment Foundation. “Why should a foster parent be stripped of his or her right to self-defense, or their ability to defend their foster child, simply to appease some bureaucrat’s anti-gun philosophy?”

He continued: “We’re in a new era, when people not only must be concerned with violent crime, but also acts of urban terrorism. How would it look for Oklahoma if foster children came to some harm because OKDHS regulations disarmed their foster parents?

“We’re asking for an injunction against this requirement because it puts foster families at serious risk while denying parents of their constitutional rights.”

The case comes on behalf of Stephen and Krista Pursley of Moore, Oklahoma, who have served as foster parents to nearly three-dozen children.

U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch became the latest Obama appointee to admit that one of her top priorities is to make sure President Obama’s policies live on long after she and her boss leave power.

Lynch is quoted in the latest issue of New York Magazine saying: “My goal is to position the [Department of Justice] where it will carry on in all of these issues long after myself and my team have moved on.”

She was speaking specifically about Obama’s executive orders on gun control, which he announced last week.

Lynch made the comment in response to a question about how she planned to prosecute gun sellers under the new executive actions.

Leading Republican presidential hopefuls Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Ben Carson all vowed to overturn the Obama orders if elected. But if Lynch gets her way, that will be easier said than done.

And Lynch is not the first Obama appointee to make such a comment.

Muñoz, a former executive with the National Council of La Raza, said it was her job “to make sure we build this really into the DNA across the federal bureaucracy, at a leadership level, but much more importantly to make sure that when political appointees like me are no longer here this (immigration strategy) is built into what those agencies do and think about every day.”

Muñoz said it was important for all 18 federal agencies to standardize, set benchmarks and “measure successes,” ensuring states and localities create the desired “welcoming communities” for refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants of all types, including those not in the country legally.

Writing for Breitbart, Ben Shapiro, author of “The People vs. Barack Obama: The Criminal Case Against The Obama Administration,” said these efforts by Obama bureaucrats across the board offer a sobering backdrop for the next president, even if it should be Trump, Cruz or some other leading conservative.

Make no mistake about it, the Government panel’s recommendation, if it finds its way somehow through Congress, is an underhanded way for the Government to implement gun control. We can’t have depressed people running around with guns in their possession. Even better if the testing is covered by Medicare and Medicaid so the taxpayers can fill yet another big trough from which corporate America feeds.

The irony in the Totalitarian creep of the Federal Government is that humans don’t like the idea that they can’t control their immediate lives and living environment. Thus, they want to believe with surprising adamance that their vote matters – that they can control the outcome of an election with their “participation” in the process. If the preventive task force has its way, Americans could lose their Second Amendment…

The United States Preventive Services Task Force recently recommended mandatory depression screening for all Americans. The task force wants to force health insurance companies to pay for the screening. Basic economics, as well as the Obamacare disaster, should have shown this task force that government health insurance mandates harm Americans.

Government health insurance mandates raise the price of health insurance. Consumers will respond to this increase by either choosing to not carry health insurance or by reducing their consumption of other goods and services. Imposing new health insurance mandates will thus make consumers, many of whom are already suffering from Obamacare’s costly mandates, worse off by forcing them to deviate from their preferred consumption patterns.

Mandatory depression screening will not just raise insurance costs. In order to ensure that the screening mandate is being properly implemented, the government will need to create a database containing the results of the screenings. Those anti-gun politicians who want to forbid anyone labeled “mentally ill” from owning a firearm will no doubt want to use this database as a tool to deprive individuals of their Second Amendment rights.

If the preventive task force has its way, Americans could lose their Second Amendment, and possibly other, rights simply because they happened to undergo their mandatory depression screening when they were coping with a loved one’s passing or a divorce, or simply having a bad day. As anyone who has been mistakenly placed on the terrorist watch list can attest, it is very difficult to get off a government database even when the government clearly is in error. Thus, anyone mistakenly labeled as depressed will have to spend a great deal of time and money in what may be a futile attempt to get his rights back.

Mandatory depression screening will endanger people’s health by increasing the use of psychotropic drugs. These drugs often have dangerous side effects. Their use has even been linked to suicide. The fact that almost every mass shooter was on psychotropic drugs is another good reason to oppose any policy that will increase reliance on these medicines.

The Preventive Services Task Force’s mandatory depression screening mandate is based on the fallacy that diagnosing mental health problems is analogous to diagnosing cancer or diabetes. Even mental health professionals acknowledge that there is a great deal of subjectivity in mental health diagnosis.

Consider that until 1973 homosexuality was considered a mental disorder by the American Psychiatric Association. Today, some mental health professionals think that those who believe in limited government, free-market economics, or traditional values suffer from mental disorders. If mandatory depression screening becomes a reality, it is likely this mental health screening will be expanded to cover screening for other mental illnesses. This could result in anyone with an unpopular political belief or lifestyle choice being labeled as “mentally ill.”

Lexington, Massachusetts. Does the name of that quaint New England town ring a bell for anyone? It should, Lexington, MA, is where American independence was kicked into high gear. On April 19, 1775, the British “red coats” marched out of Boston, heading for Concord, intending to seize caches of arms stored by local militias. They were first met on the Lexington town green and the skirmish was on, the rest as they say is history.

Fast-forward almost 240 years to the day and some of the residents of Lexington have come full circle.

They are now advocating for the government to seize legally owned firearms from the town’s residents.

The town of Lexington utilizes an annual town meeting to set policy, bylaws and approve things like the town budget. The residents do not vote directly; instead they have approximately 200 “town meeting members” who vote in representation of their constituents.

One such town meeting member, a Harvard professor named Robert Rotberg has taken it upon himself to enact, what he hopes will be “a movement against assault weapons that would capture the state and therefore maybe explode to reach the country.”

He has seized upon the recent ban enacted in Highland Park, IL, and has modeled his own ban, almost copying the language verbatim. Filing it to the town meeting warrant as Article 34.

Among other things, Article 34 includes any firearm that is semi-automatic and can accept a magazine that will hold more than 10 rounds. It also includes any magazine that holds more than 10 rounds. The article also has a provision in which Lexington’s licensed gun owners who own firearms included in the ban would be forced to sell, render inoperable, or have them seized and destroyed by the police department.

Since 2002, the government has been intent on testing millions for mental illness. This obsession even extends to our veterans as they return from combat and leave the service. The veterans are increasingly being diagnosed as having PTSD and they are subsequently being adjudicated to not being eligible to own a firearm.

Marti Oakley has been at the forefront on covering elderly abuse in which the courts are stealing the property and incarcerating the elderly into mandatory detention in a care facility because they are mentally infirm. And why is this happening? If an elderly person fails to balance their checkbook, for example, they are robbed and confined by the courts.

These practices are reminiscent of how the Soviets used to imprison political enemies. The Soviets simply said if anyone disagree with the government, they must have “political schizophrenia” and required to have treatment in a mental healthcare facility.

When I went through my clinical training, the Bible of mental illness, The Statistical and Diagnostic Manual (DSM-4r) defined Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) as a highly controversial mental illness used to describe children and teens as mentally ill if they exhibited disobedience and defiance. When I was first nationally credentialed, most practitioners did not take this diagnosis seriously and we mistakenly believed that it would fade away. We uniformly believed this to be true because defiance and oppositional behaviors are hallmark traits of healthy rebellion exhibited by children and teens as they seek independence. Rather than ODD fading away, the diagnosis has become the tool of the ruling elite.

The new DSM (5) has expanded the definition of ODD to include adults who exemplify “paranoid ideation” about the government and frequently express these delusional ideations on the Internet.

In most states, the government could arrest a member of the Independent Media based upon a charge of “threat to self and others due to paranoid ideation under the new ODD. The hold of the media types would be f0r 72 hours. The “patient” would not be able to speak with family and more importantly, with an attorney. The result could be a sentence which remands one to a mental health facility where they are forcibly drugged since they are now a ward of the state. Personal assets can be seized in order to pay for “treatment”.

There is only one reason for Hillary Clinton even having a shot at the Oval Office, a Congress that has failed to indict her and see that she receive justice. While stories will pull at the heart strings of some bleeding heart liberals, those that stop to think about such stories should consider that the person that shot the elderly brother and sister, if the story is even true, should consider that the person who did the shooting apparently was not caught and still has his gun. The White House released a fact-sheet Jan. 4 which previews the executive gun control Obama will unveil Tuesday and one aspect of the new controls is the inclusion of “information from the Social Security Administration in the background check system about beneficiaries who are prohibited from possessing a firearm.”
