Anohana is probably close to what you're looking for.
Little Busters/Little Busters:Refrain are kind of similar to Clannad, so you might want to check them out.
Welcome to the NHK is somewhat sad especially if you can relate to the story.

If you want something enjoyable, a must watch, check out Kino's Journey or Shigofumi: Letters of the Departed. Those are two with a great emotion resonance to them.
