Is there any serious similar to 'Another' or 'When they cry'?
I love this eerie village/small town type of setting.
Currently watching "Ookami kakushi".
Not sure if any good. The beginning of the first episode kinda ruined it for me.

>>1792Seconding Shiki, you might also want to check out Ghost Hound, it's got a similar setting and deals with astral projection and hauntings. Boogiepop Phantom is also really good but it's more of a grungy urban setting with lots of urban legends

Back from watching Shin Sekai Yori and then mushishi including second season nonstop.
Both were amazing.
