Want stuff with a similar vibe but doesn't have to be yuri. Must have a good look to it. yy was just 2cute4me. Prefer light hearted comedy with a good cast.

I suppose you might like Girls Und Panzer, however that is much less funny than Yuru Yuri. It does have a cute and well used cast, and the side characters are all fantastic.

Nichijou feels very similar, but can often be very hard to follow due to the "Japaneseness" of the jokes.

I'd also definitely try Lucky Star if you haven't yet.

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san might be have a male protagonist, it has fast pacing and loads of gags if you're into that.

All of these, including YRYR feature tons of animu and vidya references. So they're more enjoyable if you at least have a decent understanding of it.
