I just got bit by the anime bug and am looking for more suggestions.

I've currently watched and enjoyed Madoka Magika, Angel Beats!, Fairy Tail, Kaze no Stigma, The Irregular at Magic High School, Ouran High School Host Club, and Sword Art Online.

I'm thinking of watching Neon Gensis or Gurren Lagan since those are apparently classics, but give me suggestions!

0080: War in the Pocket (the best thing to ever come out of Gundam)
Gundam IGLOO (Space Nazi super-science in space)
08th MS Team (Gundam from the perspective of grunts)
Cowboy Bebop
Samurai Champloo
Jin-Roh (alternate history Japan where the Nazis have won meets Red Riding Hood)
Ghost in the Shell (both movie, followed by Stand Alone Complex and Solid State Society, then Arise, and if you want the manga as well)
PSYCHO-PASS (ala Stand Alone Complex, second season is of dubious quality)
Darker than Black (Chinese Electric Batman, second season was written by the queen of cucking)
Serial Experiments Lain (not for everyone - very 90s)
Legend of Galactic Heroes (an epic)
VOTOMS
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (a shonen that actually goes somewhere)
Sword of the Stranger (great movie)
Planetes (garbage disposal in space, one of the greatest things to ever fucking grace anime)

And definitely watch NGE, just watch out for spoilers.
