You need to be more clear about what you're looking for cause its vague and contradictory. Anyway, some recent more lowkey gay series I can think of are Binan, JoJo, Fafner Exodus, Aldnoah, and Owari no Seraph and Arslan which are both now airing.

Check out Kuroshitsuji and Gundam Seed/Wing too.

do you mean gigantic muscled up hairy chest males and manservice?
Do you just mean homosexual relationships, which is conversely going to be categorized as yaoi (or yuri) 100% of the time
