I want to get into Gintama but I don't know which torrent to take from nyaa for the whole first season. There's some unofficial batch but it doesn't say which group subbed it, and I also see Horrible Subs. Which should I get?

Any fansub is unofficial. But, Horrible Subs does not fansub. They rip from Crunchyroll. So if you want official, go with Crunchyroll or Horrible Subs.

I didn't word my post correctly. There's a torrent called "unofficial batch" but it doesn't say which group subbed it. And yes I know how Horrible Subs is like, just wanted to see if there is some specific group that most anons watch Gintama with. I guess I'll download that since Horrible Subs is the only other option.

For the early fansubs I watched Rumbel, and they were pretty good. They stopped/disbanded/ran out of money after a while and after a brief collaboration with Shinsen subs, I think.

Now I'm not sure if anyone worthwhile does it, or if everyone just uses Horriblesubs.
