One thing we need to decide on is size. The smaller the size, the cheaper it will be (usually) but also has to be large enough for all the images we wish to place in.

- The images have to be of high quality and easy to read and understand. Many chan images are not to normies.

This isn't that cheap of a thing to buy in bulk unless we go direct to china.

1GB, Red, blank keys, 100 for $458.00 USD

Some on ebay for about $10 for 5-10

Alibaba as another anon in the thread pointed out is probably our best bet to get sub-$1 per USB drive. http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/usb-flash-drives-bulk-cheap.html

expect duds, but still worth it at this price

This might be the cheapest and biggest. Once we have a set archive we can decide how big it must be

i dont think 1gb will be enough at all, depending on how big we make it though.

if we go all out and put videos on it as well, then it will get large nice and quick

no videos, unless they are like 8ch webm short. Too much space. Maybe we can get the webm fag's help to shorten them when we get there.

The smaller the better obviously, but it should be easier to tell the size once we get closer to the finish of it all.

why no videos as extras? and for example TGSNT is a must, even when it's long. SHort videos in the beginning, ok, but we should include longer ones too for having a igger information-stream

Forgive my ignorance, but do you not need to own a registered company to buy from there?

Rather than putting the videos directly on the USB, perhaps a short trailer could be made to pique their interest and a catalog of links to mega/dropbox/google drive/torrents of the full videos could be included in a txt file. The benefit would be much smaller capacity drives (cheaper) and much shorter write times (putting a film on each USB would take forever if you were making a bunch at a time). The downside is that many people wouldn't bother or would be afraid to download the videos.

I'm also concerned most normies won't have good video codecs and won't be able to play many formats on their computers and won't go through the effort of installing VLC or something. So ideally stick to videos that will play on an out of the box mac book which seems to be the go to computer for collegefag normies.
