Post titles are too dark to read without looking closely. I feel like if you're going to change bg and post bg color, you should also change all the text colors to something that is legible on top of that color. Otherwise it's ok, personally not my style though.

My thought process behind them;

Slight blue tint, because it contrasts with an orange lighting. Keep your shadows transparent and wide so they don't become garish.

Move them down, and very slightly to the right. That's where lighting is most natural.

What's the best dark GTK theme? I used to use FlatStudio Dark but it doesn't work in newer versions of GTK3 since they changed themes to be CSS only.

Just about everyone else I know still using windows is still using Windows 7, so I feel ahead of the curve in terms of technology.

the current thing to do is to use firefox and the stylish plugin. the plugin allows you to theme with css all of the ui. you then go to userstyles.org and customise a theme.

chromium isn't generally recommended as it is google and so highly botnet.

Chromium doesn't have CSS themes. It has autistic color scheme changes. Install firefox or icecat, and download something called 'stylish'. Then, go to userstyles.org and search for 'firefox'. Do this for all the webpages you use frequently as well.
