Foobar2000 Subject Beauty Skin
Here is a little nice looking skin for my fellows.
https://d.maxfile.ro/hdrfomwpcv.zip
It is called Subject Beauty. Originally it wouldn't show the embedded on the songs pictures, but I "fixed" that. Kind of cheated, so I am not sure if it is going to work on anything else than foobar2000 v1.3.8 (the current newest version), but most likely it will.
/tech/ send me to this dead place, so enjoy not much.
Rice and WinMod Bundle Package
Supyo, was wondering if anyone wants to get in on making this rice pack with me. So far I have a bunch of GUI mods and system mods for Win7 that make it look and function more like Linux. I also have a batch file that auto-installs a lot of it. Is there any software you guys think I'm missing? Does anyone wanna help with the auto-installer (possibly make a C++ executable for it)?
When this is done, it's supposed to be a click-and-go full Windows optimization and GUI/functionality overhaul. Let me know what you guys think.
Paranoid Anons /Tech/ Guide V.2 for my bros at /rice/
This is very /tech/ related and has some light /rice/ elements. I wanted to spread this to you so that you would stay informed. I hope this helps you.

Warning:
following these instructions may severely break your computer and firefox and may ruin your privacy and your entire life.
do any of these things at your own risk.
I am not responsible for anything bad that happens to you.
Some of these things DO mess up your ability to use 8chan and screw up the way the site functions so pick and choose carefully, use saves/different profiles or something.
This may void your warranty.
Ask a professional and the mozilla team before doing anything.
You have been warned.
first open about:config
to protect against SSLv3 exploit you can use the mozilla addon "SSL version control"
or set security.tls.version.min = 1 in about:config for Mozilla Firefox.
To restore change the value back to the security.tls.version.min = 0. That's it.
In Mozilla Thunderbird you can set it also in about:config, which You can find in: Tools → Options → Advanced → General → Config Editor.
Always use a firefox fork that gets regular good security updates. never use a main distribution. the underdogs are your friends.
remember to explore "about:permissions" as well.
(search these so they come up)

(take a break here and read how to fix the internet for everyone)
- install TOR software on EVERY router, complete unfiltered
- force EVERYONE to use PGP, no exceptions
- forbid non open source software in essential parts of using the internet (webbrowser, mail client…)
- build a company which is only there for pen-testing, if something is found, they have to call/mail the website owner and inform him
- build a company which is completly transparent, the only thing they do is build network hardware, everyone has the right to look into their files/production processes to verify there are no backdoors in the hardware
- same for computer manufacturers
- ISPs are forbidden to give "middle traffic speed", but they have to give you a minimum traffic speed for every time

sferwHave you taken the brown pill yet, mateys?
it's a tough pill to swallow! The brown pill was founded in 1999 by Sir Reginald Brownpill, who presents and narrates the attached video.
Forget red and blue pills, brown pills are the way of the future.
Video related. Please leave your questions, comments, and concerns below about this radical new paradigm of thinking!
Swallow the brown pill today! Red pills are for fedora fucking wearing faggots, blue pills are for the ignorant masses. Ignore the other le epin /pol/ maymays, this one is the readl deal.
Ricing Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.2

Windows stole my rice
How can I reassing ALL my system sounds, not just simple shit like "Error" and "Empty Recycle Bin"? I used to do it in Windows 7 well enough, but my new laptop came with Windows 8 and the feature is gutted. Will Windows 10 bring it back?
I miss my custom Bardiche sounds. He was comforting,

CUSTOM CSS
Hi /rice/, /g/ sent me here. I run a few boards on this site, and I was wondering if there is a guide to making custom CSS?
I also figure this will be a good potential thread for some CSS makers to post OC. OC is always good, and if more board owners could customize this place would be a lot more interesting!
Here are few board themes I really like:
