Supyo, was wondering if anyone wants to get in on making this rice pack with me. So far I have a bunch of GUI mods and system mods for Win7 that make it look and function more like Linux. I also have a batch file that auto-installs a lot of it. Is there any software you guys think I'm missing? Does anyone wanna help with the auto-installer (possibly make a C++ executable for it)?

When this is done, it's supposed to be a click-and-go full Windows optimization and GUI/functionality overhaul. Let me know what you guys think.

Also, the old version of firefox looked a lot nicer than the new version (see left vs. right), it doesn't seem like the newer firefox versions play nice with stylish mods, I couldn't find a fix for this, does anyone else know how to does lol?

I'm updating it and providing a download for it in a bit if anyone is interested - http://snerx.com/snux

What are the supported Windows versions of this?

Looks like it only supports Windows 7.

It's specifically tailored to Windows 7, but I exclusively used 32-bit programs that are all windows natives so I imagine it works for XP, 8, and 10, although it's untested on all of those (feel free to try it though).

Yea I spent five hours yesterday trying to get py2exe to work for a keylogger I'm making based on this thread - https://8ch.net/baphomet/res/82763.html#q99322

So really I'm just being a lazy shit, I have to get the batch files to work properly; the Auto-copier works (all the files get moved to their proper folders automatically), but the Auto "installer" doesn't get everything yet, as everything is technically already installed because the source folder contains all the extracted programs etcetera. The auto-installer batch just needs to run and exit each program in a certain order for them to get added to the startup registry or for their visual styles to get applied.

So sorry, the reason the download isn't available yet is just because I'm a lazy shit, but the good news is that this probably works on all the common versions of windows, or at least the large majority of the programs will. Also, if you're interested, the keylogger will be it's own download (and source will be given) on the site, as well as part of it's own opsec and misc package similar to Shax, so you can get that for free as well when I'm done with it. All the updates for the finished products will appear here first - https://8ch.net/fcc if you want to know right away. Cheers bruvdas.

Yea soz bruvda, been super busy submitting papers to journals and shit because I'm a nerd. So here's what's going down, I got four packages now-

SNUX is a Winux overhaul, meaning a Windows7 rice & mod package designed to make

Windows look and function more like Linux.

SPOR is a portable desktop deployment designed for SecOps and Win-program replacement.

SHAX is a portable skiddie toolkit designed for local, wardriving, and remote tasks.

The programs bundled in SHAX are based on this program list - http://snerx.com/trenches

SPAX is the combination of all three other packs, intended to make for a full distro

deployment of Windows7 fully riced and modified to look and feel like Linux SecOps.

I updated the page for this a little bit - http://snerx.com/winux

The reason I separated them was so the ricing would be its own thing and all the extra programs, 'debloating' of windows via alternative programs to its undesirable vanilla programs, would be their own thing. Shax is almost completely unnecessary for the average person, so that's separate as well. I drank a lot and my head hurts so we'll see where this goes, but in an attempt to make this release sooner, and possibly with full-on installers to automate the whole thing, this is open-source, anyone that wants to work on it, contact me, I'll be putting the upload for SPAX on the site first which will just be all the files I currently have for all of this, so you can edit that as you please.
