Download these values:
http://elona.squares.net/forum/download/file.php?id=1047Set your open elosnack to inv.sl
I'm assuming you know how to use Elosnack.
I used the guide here on inv.sl:
http://elona.wikia.com/wiki/EloSnackIn your open game, press f12 and then 3 to get a list of items. Use whatever item (I used a silver katana)
Change values according to the spreadsheet and inv.sl guide I linked.
Unfortunately you can't have unique artefact names, so set your artefact name to 40000 and use a scroll of name to find a half-decent name.
Make sure to set item type to 5 (godly) so you can use scroll of name.
I haven't actually tested the scroll of name yet, but I assume it will work.
I've attached the snack used to make 'Cat's Cradle' and the final product as an example.
Here's a guide to change sprites if you want to do that:
http://elona.wikia.com/wiki/Item_appearance_editing_with_ElosnackAttached is a picture of my snack values, the artefact it creates and the changed sprite.
Also, for whatever reason it doesn't work with bullets. I think I'll just turn it into a club.

>>599>how is INI calculated? I feel like I should have more AP than I doINI is calculated at character creation. The first number is the sum of all your stats added together while the second number is your speed. The higher the monster's INI compared to yours when you kill them, the more AP you gain. The only caveat to this is that AP gets harder to accumulate the more your total AP gain is (the number in parentheses).
Initially, you really won't start seeing more AP until you start taking on strong level 70 monsters. Eventually that will dwindle down as your max AP gets higher and higher, forcing you to take on even stronger monsters again. The only thing we know about total AP gain and INI is that 20% of your total AP gain is factored into your INI stat.

Messing around with the mechanics of gene engineering. So far I only udnerstand how attributes transfer from donor to pet, and I don't see this info any where else on the wiki or pastebin, so I figured I'd share.
In terms of attributes (which I will just call stats) your pet will inherit a donors 3 highest stats unless your pet is either
a) a higher level than the donor, in which case no stats are transferred (at least nothing visible without a memory editor as far as I can see)
or b) The corresponding stat your pet has in relation to the donor's 3 highest stats is equal to or higher than the donor's. In this case, nothing is transferred to that stat. So if the donor has a high str, con, and dex but your pet has a higher or equal str, then your pet will only inherit con and dex.
As for how many points you get: It seems the max is 10 stat points to a single stat from a donor. The only caveat, once again, is if the stat will be raised to higher than the donor's, in which case your pet gets the difference.
This is, of course, all in Elona+. I would not be surprised if this is completely different from vanilla Elona, so don't take my experimentation to heart on that version.
No.624
>>623Some addenda:
It doesn't seem like Speed can be transferred at all. Not even Speed experience.
Did more testing with stat transfer using an editor to look at the exact values affected. If one of your pet's stat is higher or equal to the corresponding donor's highest stats then nothing is transferred. Not even stat experience. Lastly, if your pet's level is equal to or higher than the donor's then nothing is transferred, not even stat experience.
So there you go. It seems unblessed/blessed potions of descent gain some usefulness if you manipulate pet/donor levels for stat transfers. The level difference doesn't seem to matter in how many stats you gain. Your pet could be one level lower than the donor and still gain 10 points to a stat as a maximum.

Blessed potions of descent will help, but they were severely nerfed in terms of obtaining them in Elona+ compared to vanilla Elona. Used to be you could set up a zombie ranch and kill them enmasse for potions of descent, but that was removed from their loot table. So the only way to get those now seem to be from wishing or getting lucky in dungeons.
Someone claimed you could get them from magic vendors, but I've yet to ever see one in there, and I am someone who heavily invests into them all the time.

how am I supposed to make the transition to danger level 150 dungeons? I just ran into my first stag god and holy shit, how do you even compete with THAT?
No.757
>>756Stag gods are an anomaly for level 150, to be fair. A bullshit anomaly, of course. I personally have yet to come to that barrier (working on 100 danger level), but from an anon on /jp/:
>I remember that stint in my early god slaying days.
>The element dragon is probably the weakest of the god type monsters as it's damage is reduced significantly by resist gear/high level silence spell. Due to its attacks I understand why you say you must kill it by yourself since if your pets don't have the required elemental resists they die pretty fast.
>Stag gods were painful for a bit. I ended up stacking lighting resist, working on leveling a healing spell and teleport spell, and doing lots of hit and run tactics to bring them down. Stag gods were my hardest enemies in the game for awhile as I could kill anything I saw with ease but when I saw a stag god I knew I could bring them down but I was in for a long and miserable fight. Eventually the levels and stats I gained through adventuring allowed me to ditch hit and run techniques and go toe to toe with it.
>I thought the stag god was the worst enemy the game could throw at me aside from the gods you worship but then I met the Atlas and five headed god. The Atlas is a melee brute with a str of 736 that can demolish your life bar in seconds if it can get his hands on you and the five headed god is fast and has many attacks due to said heads. Each attack is an element but with even superb resists the attacks can whittle you down because of how fast and how many attacks it gets. Even worst is that it has a lot of life to boot as well.
>Eventually my permanent solution to these god type enemies was stumbling upon a living weapon and stacking "deals massive damage to gods" when I leveled it up. That living weapon made things a whole lot easier when dealing with god enemies. I also found another living weapon later on and decided to stack "deals massive damage to dragons" to deal with various elemental dragons(red, white, elect, etc) not to be confused with the element dragon.
>Summary: Level up, get more stats, get more resists, get living weapon to deal with god type monsters No.758
