What has happened here is always a threat to slow boards.
Nothing complicated all he does is create new topics till it bumps off old content.
All you can do to stop it is sticky any thread you don't want to lose.
Anyone autistic to do this shit is autistic to manually type in capchas.
It sucks to have many sticky topics but until you speak with an admin to see if you can rollback the board that's all you can do.
