There are much more active funposting boards than this, but they aren't polite.
These are the two I know of:
>>>/ultra/>>>/s8s/I funpost on here because on the original s4s being nice and telling people to check their privilege was more of an ironic statement on the oversensible tumblr and reddit crowd.
This current situation didn't really haven that much of an impact on s4s because it used to be nice anyway. Just the way moot wants the hole site to be.
I don't think it's fun or ironic to be nice if I have to fear a perma ban if you are rude for once. What does light mean without a shadow once in a while?!
I love(ed) s4s because the people CHOSE to be nice. Now they are FORCED, weather they like it or not.
I browsed 4chan since over 6 years now and moots recent behaviour was so shocking on a personal level because I always admired moot for being first in line when it came to fighting for anonymity and freedom of speech.
I remember how he used to bash on Mark Zuckerberg because of facebooks blatant data farming.
I always thought, maybe he'll realise how he changed, maybe he'll try to get back to his roots. But in my opinion the final nail on 4chans coffin was when the moderator on /pol/ activly and publicly doxed a user.
That was exactly the same reason moot used to censore gamergate threads.
