in this case, if we are to assume that " history is written by the winners," then we aren't speaking of events that factually happened when we say history; only events that have been recorded. biblical history has certainly been recorded, so it qualifies as "history" in this sense, which is why we call it "biblical history."

So you mean to say that you possibly believe in a higher power, but you think that the stories told by the church of its existence may be false because the church's views are subjective and ultimately historically determined? Sounds viable.
