Once the proudest and most beautiful of all angels in existence, Lucifer was sent by The Presence to rule over Hell after he rebelled. After governing Hell for more than 10 billion years, he left to look for a way out of predestination, to escape Yahweh's great Plan.

This Lucifer was created by three men in particular, Neil Gaiman, the writer of the Sandman series as well as Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenber

Murder Mysteries is a fantasy short story by Neil Gaiman

The events in the story provide a rationale for Lucifer's eventual revolt against the Presence

Because God loved humans more than the angels

It was adapted by the author into an audio drama, which was produced by Seeing Ear Theater

This sounds fantastic. Thank you for the recommendation, anon.

I will listen to the audio sometime this week and keep an eye out for that comic. I really like Neil Gaiman, as I think of him as an excellent writer.
