Poor OP's thread got derailed.
I finished by term paper on causes of faggotry a couple weeks ago because it affects me personally.
Genetics likely plays some role in it, but no "gay gene" has really been identified consistently. For example, xq28, which is an extra band on the x chromosome, has been studied since like the 80s, but there really isn't much consistency for it being a "gay gene".
There isn't really any evidence that points to a specific childhood experience or set of experiences that cause faggotry.
Even stuff like molestation and sexual abuse doesn't really have any significant effect.
And having gay or straight parents isn't identified as a causal effect of faggotry, although there may be some correlation, perhaps gay kids are more likely to come out to gay parents, or even a gay genetic trace if one parent is biological.
The most evidence that I've found as a cause of faggotry is the womb environment. The fetus brain can be "masculinized" or "feminized", even if the body is different.
So yes OP, we probably were "born gay".
