If you are not willing to understand stats you are not worthy to be a scientist. A modern scientist is, first of all, a statistician.

Many people who don't understand this go around sphewing bullshit on science being positivistic or, on the opposite (and more idiotic) side, on science having no foundation bcos "muh baselessness of induction".

Tbh I don't know why stats isn't a required class in most American high schools
