>2. Non-vidya related torrent threads are allowed, but shall be kept to one thread each (music gets one thread; movies get one thread; porn gets one thread; etc.)
Let's have a thread for anime, manga and vn downloading then.
Personally, I get muh animoo from bakabt and nyaa, vn's are easily downloadable too, and yet to get manga on your hard drive you have to go through a fuckton of hoops (this is if you don't want to be a filthy pleb that reads online), asking /a/ gets vague replies that lead nowhere (and a ban for spoonfeeding, because a few more posts will damage the board irredemably) , and going by the old method of finding the scanlator site and downloading it from there doesn't work because the scanlator groups die easily and when you want to download your series, their site is dead and buried, along with the download links.

You should consider uninstalling μTorrent if you have it. Even if you use 2.2.1, it's just better to use FOSS alternatives instead, as they get constant flows of new features and updates. Although I don't use it personally, if you like the traditional feel of the client, you should try out qBittorrent. It's based on it's design and has extra unique additions like streaming-like functions included.

The easiest way to download lots of manga is on manga.madokami.com. You'll have to make an account in #madokami on irc.rizon.net.
Thank you for not asking on /a/

spoonfeeding is a thing to complain about because people have the tools in front of them, but refuse to use them and instead demand to be spoonfed even more afterwards
example being somebody asking for anime recommendations, when he could just type "anime recommendations" in google
how's somebody supposed to know about the existence of that website, and that you need to register in a specific irc with a specific bot unless somebody mentioned it?

/a/'s sticky links to the /a/ irc. Asking on the irc about the "ftp will have someone link you to the madoka channel.
It's set up so that only people that think to ask on irc get their booty.

Seeing that this thread pretty inactive, here's another visual novel from Nitroplus that's not bad.

For seasonal shit. I recommend AB for full packs, it has a wide selection of subgroups unlike bakabt which only chooses one for each 720p/1080p quality level, however the downside of AB be it has ratios.

0783cb No.2836

no idea, I had it run on windows with demontools and the locale set to japanese, I'm not sure wine can emulate these circumstances.
The cutscenes won't work unless ye have a codec pack of some kind installed, at least that's what I did to get them running, they aren't that good so it's not a huge loss if ye miss one, this be an example of their quality.

that vn was shit m80. no interactive choices or nothing. 5/10
0783cb No.2867
>>2859
It had 2 choices.
I think ye just went in expecting the wrong thing, there are VNs that have no choices at all and are still great stories, like Ryukishi 7s stuff called Kinetic Novels or something. The more choices ye have, the less they mean and in me experience, the closer yer story steers to a haremshit dating simulator (I know there are good ones but they are the exception).

I require Berserk: the Golden Age Arc #1-3, preferably with English dubs. It's for a shipmate of mine who has little tolerance for the moonspeak but loves the sight of things gettin' keelhauled with an enormous weapon.
If I wanted to pay privateers for passage into Netflix, I wouldn't be here.
