We are here to ensure the well being of /sen/, her participants, and the whomever she governs. We are open to alliances from any Christan parties, but we strongly oppose the spread of Islam.

National Syndicalist Action Party - Party General #1
>.1 Presentation
We are the National Syndicalist Action Party, or the NSAP for short. Even though our initials coincidentally resemble that of the NSDAP, our platform is completely different.
We follow the philosophy of Georges Sorel and Charles Maurras. 2 great thinkers of almost initially different political tendencies that came to work together. Our party also owes a lot to the Futurism movement. Last but not least, one of our influences is certainly Engelbert Dollfuß and his doctrine of Austrofascism.
Our main values are thus Equality, Honesty, Patriotism and Industry.
As our name indicates we are staunch supporters of National Syndicalism, general syndicalism and Integral Nationalism. While traditionally Catholic, the party is not officially affiliated with any religion, but our agenda does have its roots in catholic morals.
>2. Agenda
We support:
a) Protectionism, specifically Dirigism. While the market must flow, the State must ensure that all of our nation's resources are being properly used and managed and that our proud laborers are protected from competition from nations where unethical work laws allow them an unfair edge over our national product. Some industries of crucial national importance, such as Defence and Nuclear Energy must be controlled directly by the State in order to ensure it's perpetuation.
b) Workers Rights in our nation. All of our citizens should be able to work in normal and satisfying conditions. Wherever possible businesses should be run by committees of workers advised by specific experts. Of course this doesn't mean the expropriation of industries by the State, as that would be illegal and highly immoral, but rather focuses on how to start new businesses or help failed companies.
c) Patriotism and National Pride. All of our citizens must be instilled with a great sense of belonging to our People. We are a proud Nation which stands tall in the face of adversity, be it anarchists, revolutionaries, terrorists or foreign powers.
d) Decentralization. Whenever power is centralized it becomes rigid and inflexible, unable to see the real issues and is given a sense of self importance it often doesn't deserve. By delegating powers to locally elected councils, work and the whole functioning of our country will run a lot smoother. This also means our system is more adaptable to challenges it faces. Finally such an organization gives a lot more options of self-rule to the various ethnic minorities in our nation.
e) a comfortable Defense budget and compulsory military service. The primary actor that holds the loose association of local councils together is our Defense Force. To give us a strong army and instill in every citizen an intimate relationship with the state, we demand that our country institutes a compulsory military service attended by all citizens when they hit their 21st year. We also propose that instead of being part of the political ballet, the Defense minister is elected by all active military personnel every 10 years, except in the case of a petition signed by at least 30% of all active military personnel is turned in. This will allow our country to have a solid military policy, that will mot change every few days, because of political scandals, maneuvers and what not.

To register a party, simply post its name here.
Then create an official page for your party. This page should feature the name of your party in the subject for ease of location if you make it a thread. You are more than welcome to make another board, use another website to manage your party, etc. How you manage your party is completely up to you, though a "general" thread in /sen/ is recommended.

Individuals are not required to form a party to run. They may create a name or be a tripcandyass and run independently if they'd like, but are limited in the total seats they can claim in the /sen/ate.
If your party does not have a single person who owns all the votes (votes are split at a recognizable level), you may run as both an independent candidate and as a representative of your party in forwardpast elections.
NOTE: Please remember that parties must prove their differences to be recognized as separate parties. A "Love Ebola" and "Ebola chan loves you" party are not allowed to coexist unless they can prove a meaningful difference in politics (examples of this include the merging of WiP into PF, or how CaP and COP walk a very fine line).

It seems the senate is going to be revived (again), with new elections. This is a good opportunity to discuss the electoral system for those elections.

UNITY THROUGH NOBILITY
We are a party that indemnifies Aryanism, the "inner ideology" of National Socialism which is easily identified by anti-racism, quality over quantity, unity through nobility, racial idealism and anti-Zionism that the sociopolitical system of National Socialism supported. We identify as a "left wing" political party; in addition to supporting the aforementioned values, which will be extrapolated upon in further posts, we support immigration and a multiethnic society as long as the immigrants are of quality. Our political nucleus is as follows:
1) Heritage: Nobility has a biologically heritable influence.
2) Autonomy: Nobility also has a spiritually autonomous influence.
3) Arya: Any individual has the theoretical ability and the moral duty to pursue nobility by compensating for the shortcomings of heritage using autonomy.
4) Statistics: In a large population, for every overachiever there is an underachiever. Therefore relying on autonomy alone to ennoble civilization is, on average or in the long-term, completely useless.
5) Aryanism: The most reliable way to ennoble civilization is to ennoble heritage.
6) Natural Selection: Heritage cannot be ennobled so long as Nature is permitted to eliminate the noblest in favour of the fittest (the fittest are NEVER the noblest, as avoiding death by accepting slavery is the essence of fitness), and quality in favour of quantity.
7) National Socialism: An environment must be established by the state such that survival of the fittest and greatest number is replaced by survival of the noblest and fewest number. State-controlled reproduction must be the central feature of such an environment.
GOVERNMENT
-The authentic National Socialist must be an openly avowed enemy of democracy, and should attempt to build the reputation of National Socialism as most immediately an anti-democratic ideology. While it is true that the NSDAP, following the failed 1923 Beer Hall Putsch, switched to participating in electoral politics until becoming the elected government in 1933, immediately following this victory Hitler banned all other political parties in National Socialist Germany in accordance with Fuehrerprinzip. Therefore the one-time participation by the NSDAP in electoral politics cannot be taken as any kind of endorsement of democracy by National Socialism.
ECONOMY
-To understand National Socialist economics, it is first necessary to realize that communism has the same goal as capitalism, and that it is this goal which is morally unacceptable. Believing in the primacy of the consumer, these economies are based around the economic problem of maximizing human wants attained by the exploitation of limited resources. The only disagreement between these and various other non-Aryan economic theories regards how better to accomplish their shared goal, usually based on whether a top-down or bottom-up feedback circuit is more effective. National Socialist economics differs fundamentally from all of these by refusing to treat consumption, and hence productivity, as valuable in itself.
ENVIRONMENTALISM
-National Socialists possess a keen environmental awareness on account of our recognition that what has been called “civilization” throughout history is in fact engorgement: constant increase both in population and in consumption per person, whose only possible consequence is ever-increasing strain on the entire planet and untold environmental misery. This in turn has been one of the most obvious hints that humanity as a whole has been going down the wrong path for a very long time – not decades, not centuries, but at least as long as recorded history itself.

The Advancement Coalition Party is a meritocratic, pragmatic, and technocratic ideology, based on rationalism, skepticism, and the teachings of several philosophers. The ACP's main goals are:
+ to radically encourage, enable, and accelerate artificial evolution of humanity through technological and biological means (transhumanism), with the ongoing goal of ensuring and extending the survival of the species
+ to promote space travel, interplanetary and interstellar colonisation and exploration, research into possible parallel universes and how to interact with them, and research into manipulation of our own space-time continuum, with an ultimate goal of a Type V or higher civilisation on the Kardashev scale
+ to promote the use of rational and logical thought, while maintaining an appreciation for the usefulness of emotion and belief when properly implemented
+ to work toward making simulated realities and strong AI a reality, and adequately preparing for both
ACP is not a truly political party, as it is neither left nor right and refuses to label itself as anything in particular. It is merely a representation of the mindset and ideologies of a portion of the scientific community.
Below are listed some of the ACP's current stances and views. While adherence to these ideologies is appreciated, it is not mandatory, nor should this list be considered exhaustive. One must primarily hold a strong drive to better and preserve the human race, and to learn as much as possible in the process, in order to be accepted here.
>Transhumanism
Humans are fantastic biological machines, the end product of billions of years of evolution on Earth. As machines, we need only find a suitable interface to augment them with machinery of our own, both technological and biological. Death is abhorrent and must be abolished as extensively as possible, and the effects of aging should be nullified.
>Meritocracy
People should do what they are best at. Individuals should do whatever they want as long as they show an aptitude for the task.
>Colonisation
We should send out probes, exploration ships, seeding ships, colony ships, and transport ships to other stars and planets, both within the Milky Way and without, populating the universe, contacting new life, and unravelling the mysteries of existence.
>Environmentalism
Humanity should strive to preserve a sufficient amount of samples for as many life forms as possible to ensure their survival. Our endeavours may mean some damage to the ecosystem, but we can use the very technology that has polluted and wounded it to in turn heal and purify it. Humanity takes precedence, but plants and other animals are regarded with proper respect and protected and proliferated accordingly.

It is apparent, as per >>12397 that the FPA has done nothing to defuse the conflict between Israel and Palestine, and has only contributed to further instability and violence in the region.
Additionally, the blatant brinksmanship displayed by UCFP ( >>12433 ) and HKLIP ( >>12434 ) in response to the FPA's effects gives reason to believe that said parties and their representatives either know far too little of the regional reality to be entrusted with creating policies that affect the region, or that they knew full well what effects the FPA would cause, and intentionally signed onto the act as a means of intentionally escalating the war and an excuse to exercize mass-destructive brinksmanship in response.
NATN objects to UCFP's and HKLIP's goals to deploy mass-destructive weapons at this time. Some of you might not be completely aware of this, but mass-destructive weapons are very dangerous things. 1. Recognise the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria/the Levant
2. Condemns the actions taken by the state against it's own citizens
3. Denies (re)entry into the republic of /sen/ to anybody coming from areas under the control of the ISIS.
Fellow senators, it is no use denying the fact that ISIS is one of the biggest threats to our civilisation, and pretending that these people don't control these areas - albeit illegitimately. This should be our first step towards confronting Islam on our doorstep.

The primary goal of the Research facility is to recreate and develop a more efficient and stable version of the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant that was never launched following the Chernobyl Disaster of 1986.
NF/KKK acknowledges that excessive use of fossil fuels lead to ecological deterioration and the continuing rise of monthly electric bills in the Philippines, and the fruits from the research of this facility will address those problems.
PROVISIONS
1. An area of no more than two square kilometers (2 sq. km) will be used for the NF/KKK Nuclear Research Reactor, as an extension of the PNRI (Philippine Nuclear Research Institute).
2. All research done will be solely for scientific and developmental purposes.
3. No less than one hundred (100) conscripts in the region will be posted in the facility for security purposes.
4. The facility will operate for a maximum of five (5) years in the area.
5. All research documentation is owned by the PNRI, however, the facility is mandated to release a memorandum and audit to the /sen/ate during the 25th of every month.

Action: Prison Reform Bill
Prison Labor
Noting that for-profit prisons are not only immoral but actively contribute to high rates of incarceration, this bill shall ban private, for-profit prisons. All correctional facilities under /sen/'s jurisdiction shall be run entirely by the state. No private contractors shall be allowed to profit from prison labor of any sort; all prison labor profits shall go towards funding the criminal justice system itself, specifically any debts of the convict in question, with any potential overhead going towards upkeep of the prison at which they are incarcerated. This bill also specifies that prisons shall be inspected on a regular basis to ensure that all labor meets legal occupational safety and health standards.
Gang Activity
Prison gangs are a serious problem. Getting new tattoos (a prominent step towards gang membership) are already banned within prisons themselves, but the steps taken to remedy the situation so far have largely included segregating gang members from non gang members. This is wise, but I am recommending that as a part of this bill, each correctional facility have a dedicated tattoo removal program. All tattoos on a prisoner shall be documented upon arrival such that any tattoos added while incarcerated shall be immediately removed along with any other form of body modification received, so long as removal is possible. Gang members from the same gang outside of prison shall be segregated not only from non-gang members but also from other members of their same gang.
Solitary Confinement
Although solitary confinement is already taken as an extreme measure, it has been shown to be a resounding failure which can bring about signs of mental deterioration and illness. This bill will attempt to remedy solitary confinement by requiring that prisoners in solitary confinement be allowed at least one hour of socializing per day (ideally face-to-face communication with non-guards, but socialization could also mean approved phone calls or internet communication), noting that all socializing shall be done under surveillance for the duration of the hour.
Weapons
Most makeshift weapons in prison are produced from objects provided by the prison such as razors and toothbrushes. As an alternative to providing prisoners with razors and plastic toothbrushes, this bill requires that prisoners be actively shaved on a daily basis by a third party, allowing for facial hair and individual styles (to a point, noting that anything presenting a hazard or distraction will not be an option) while preventing prisoner access to razors. Any pens used to write with must be returned at the end of the day, and plastic toothbrushes will be replaced with rubber ones.
These reforms will not be enough to improve prisons to such a substantial degree that change occurs overnight, but addresses some of the primary issues facing prisoners on a daily basis, with further reforms possible in the future.
AMENDMENTS
Prisoners will be paid competitive wages relative to legal day laborers in similar fields, though their earnings will be distributed by the state itself, with respect to the priorities already laid out in this bill.
Parolees can either be in a work program attempting to find them work in the private sector, or continue their manual labor as a government employee for a period of time not exceeding half of their parole, so as to allow for adequate reintegration into the work force.
Private entities are banned from profiting from prison labor. All cleanup crews must be on public or government-owned land such as sidewalks and parks. Any construction work will be for public transport and will be restricted to non-essential manual labor so as to avoid any possibility of sabotaging of public works. As a rule, during the hours in which convicts cleaning up or working, the area in question will be off limits to the general public for their safety and to avoid potential prison breaks.

Getting new tattoos (a prominent step towards gang membership) are already banned within prisons themselves, but the steps taken to remedy the situation so far have largely included segregating gang members from non gang members. This is wise, but I am recommending that as a part of this bill, each correctional facility have a dedicated tattoo removal program. All tattoos on a prisoner shall be documented upon arrival such that any tattoos added while incarcerated shall be immediately removed along with any other form of body modification received, so long as removal is possible. Gang members from the same gang outside of prison shall be segregated not only from non-gang members but also from other members of their same gang.
Solitary Confinement
Although solitary confinement is already taken as an extreme measure, it has been shown to be a resounding failure which can bring about signs of mental deterioration and illness. This bill will attempt to remedy solitary confinement by requiring that prisoners in solitary confinement be allowed at least one hour of socializing per day (ideally face-to-face communication with non-guards, but socialization could also mean approved phone calls or internet communication), noting that all socializing shall be done under surveillance for the duration of the hour.
Weapons
Most makeshift weapons in prison are produced from objects provided by the prison such as razors and toothbrushes. As an alternative to providing prisoners with razors and plastic toothbrushes, this bill requires that prisoners be actively shaved on a daily basis by a third party, allowing for facial hair and individual styles (to a point, noting that anything presenting a hazard or distraction will not be an option) while preventing prisoner access to razors. Any pens used to write with must be returned at the end of the day, and plastic toothbrushes will be replaced with rubber ones.
These reforms will not be enough to improve prisons to such a substantial degree that change occurs overnight, but addresses some of the primary issues facing prisoners on a daily basis, with further reforms possible in the future.
AMENDMENTS
Prisoners will be paid competitive wages relative to legal day laborers in similar fields, though their earnings will be distributed by the state itself, with respect to the priorities already laid out in this bill.
Parolees can either be in a work program attempting to find them work in the private sector, or continue their manual labor as a government employee for a period of time not exceeding half of their parole, so as to allow for adequate reintegration into the work force.
Private entities are banned from profiting from prison labor. All cleanup crews must be on public or government-owned land such as sidewalks and parks. Any construction work will be for public transport and will be restricted to non-essential manual labor so as to avoid any possibility of sabotaging of public works. As a rule, during the hours in which convicts cleaning up or working, the area in question will be off limits to the general public for their safety and to avoid potential prison breaks.

So far, the situation is this: NF/KKK Supremo proposed an action to recognize Sabah and Northern Borneo in general as territory of the Philippines. The action failed. He then declared that he was going to take over the region anyways, explicitly without /sen/ate approval because he claimed that the decision was warped by "commie" volunteers. Shitty roleplay ensued. As a means of playing along and trying to end it, the UCFP fired an orbital laser three times at three occupied cities, destroying ~96% of the population. NF/KKK Supremo proceeded to make some even shittier roleplaying decisions by drawing the conflict out, with the general gist being "It's just a flesh wound, most of my soldiers are fine," which they wouldn't be by any stretch of the imagination.
Here's where things get out of hand. At this point, he starts outright shitposting like crazy. Kane bans him and he pitches a fit, ban evading many times until finally he gets tired of the whole thing. It's at this point that Panopticon, who from the beginning thought that /sen/ technically couldn't get involved without jurisdiction over Borneo, claims that Kane broke the rules by banning Supremo when volunteers have no power to ban users.
It is up to us as the six members of the most powerful parties in the /sen/ate to decide his punishment. I'm going to begin by stating upfront and honestly that I think Kane made the right call on this, even though he went around the rules in order to do so. I'm suggesting right off the bat that we amend the rules to allow for volunteer banning of users from this point onwards. If Kane must be punished, so be it, but I think in the future that ought to be an option, considering that board volunteers are the most active means of moderation on /sen/, and they ought to have the ability to ban users to prevent rampant shitposting. I think the right call was made to prevent a lot of garbage that was of a sufficiently poor quality to be below the standards of /sen/ and the standards of roleplaying in general. Respondents are not required to fill in all four voting slots if they do not wish to. The dropdown menus are shuffled, just as a heads up, so pay attention!
2) Respondents must enter either their ID from this thread, or their tripcode (specifically the !xC5zDdTblegh thing after their name) as verification of who they are. Invalid tripcodes/IDs/Post Numbers will invalidate your survey, so it’s advised that you just copy/paste them.
