We are a left of centre party who believe in personal freedom. Our platform:-

1. Drug legalisation and harm reduction via medical and social programmes rather than paternalism
2. Support for civilian ownership of firearms
3. Support for a welfare state and limitations on the power of corporations and the finance industry
4. Opposition to militarisation of the police
5. Opposition to warfare and overspending on defence
6. Secularism and respect for all ways of life which do not harm others

The Bolsheviks did organise armed militias. The soviets were councils of soldiers (and workers) who had been conscripted into the armies of the Russian Empire and provisional republic. If you mean that the Bolsheviks should have organised these militias prior to the revolution, you're forgetting that the Bolsheviks had been banned and suffered repression from the Tsarist secret police.

See, I would, but there are literal fascists who go around telling leftists that fascism is compatible with socialism, and I don't know for sure that something called "The Nation Party" is actually on the left.
