Revolutionary Marxist Party
I accidently deleted the bloody thread but new flag Edition!
We are the Revolutionary Marxist Party (RMP), a revolutionary organisation based on exclusively Marxist principles.
Platform:
- Opposition to capitalism and right-wing politics
- Support for the working class as a revolutionary force capable of building socialism
- Support for all oppressed groups and social freedoms for all people
- Opposition to privatisation and neoliberalism
- Support for open debate, discussion and development of party cadre
We base ourselves as a Marxist party rather than a 'broad party' and disagree with the organisational structure and basis of Popular Front (A party that may be seen as similar), our objections will be listed in the thread although we are not against working with our natural allies.
Party Executive: (To be voted on)
The Party Executive is a group voted in by rank and file members to lead the organisation. Their role is to organise the party and debating.

Repost of
Objections to the Popular Front broad partyAs a separate Marxist party, it is important to establish why we exist as a separate organisation rather than unite with the Popular Front comrades.
The Popular Front is not the revolutionary organisation advocated for by Lenin. It is not a Marxist organisation, nor is it explicitly revolutionary.
We reject the inclusion of middle class politics and anarchism into revolutionary organisation, one simply has to look at the numerous times the anarchists have betrayed the revolution to understand why.
Furthermore, we consider their 'What do we stand for?' point of 'Opposition to Authoritarianism and Fascism in all forms" a great issue. Not only is this a weak, apolitical objection to fascism (Which of course, we directly oppose) but seems to object to authority and conflate authority with fascism. Such a policy makes little sense. I would advise the Popular Front comrades to read Engels' essay 'On Authority' (
https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1872/10/authority.htm)
The Popular Front also supports 'just revolution'. What this means is unknown, as this has never been clarified. The inclusion of all self-identifying socialists, anarchists and Marxists perhaps seems to have muddled their politics. It would be suggested that there be some clarification around this idea along with the other very broad points outlined in their 'What do we stand for?'.
The Revolutionary Marxist Party believes that only an explicitly Marxist organisation basing itself of the principles set by Vladimir Lenin can bring about the worker's revolution. This includes the development of party cadre, which seems to have also been lost on the Popular Front comrades.
Regardless, we are open to discussion and debate with the Popular Front. We are also open to political alliances and unity discussions should they wish to address our points.

At least you're not the cultural marxist New Left kind that is so intent in destroying civilization within the frame work of capitalism.
Your economics might not work, and your sociology outdated.
But you recognize authority, in some ways hierarchy, and you're not that much deluded with marxist psychoanalytics that has made the past generations of the late 20th and early 21st centuries degenerate.
Marxism and consumerism is a deadly mix of poison.

Next your going to blame consumerism on marxism, or even any form of socialism, which is hillarious in irony.
We are anti-capitalist, and therefor anti-consumerism, because capitalism is needed for consumerism.
Stop using red scare shit to voice your disapproval of capitalism.

420b would like to form a parliamentary coalition with the RMP. The UCFP, currently chaired by the PF, has aligned too closely with right-wing elements such as anti-semites and monarchists for our membership with them to continue.

It is evident that our postliberal society is marxist infected.
Today's marxists have embraced capitalism, he may say he's anti-capitalist, and anti-consumerist, yet he wears shirts with Che Gueverra's face on it and keeps Che Gueverra merchandise around his apartment.

However, I look forward to developing a mutually beneficial relationship with your left-wing organisation in the future.

Marxists are not idealists who think that capitalism can be abolished through lifestyle politics. In other words, we're not going to become monks and live in a forest commune (Abandoning capitalism, in a sense) because it's not going to get anything done.
