After recent publicity gained from pirate suppression expeditions abroad, I've come under fire from activists at home for the apparent lack of females in our latest press release. Despite explanations that our physical fitness tests disqualify almost all women, the lawyer representing the women's rights association, Avi Steinbergmanfeld, said "It is a great shame that in our diverse society, there could be a company seeking to be successful without having the same ethnic and gender makeup as society."

Despite the fact that 13 out of 93 of our pilots are women, among them being #3 ranked Cynthia Bridgitte Fitzgerald, they attempted to paint us as an anti-women organization.

Affirmative action threatens to enforce an equality of outcome, replacing the principle of hiring the most qualified with the principle of hiring the most "diverse."

Thus, I propose

ACTION
It shall be illegal to use race, gender, ethnicity, or religion as a factor in employment or academic admissions, except in the case that one of these characteristics is paramount to the purpose of hiring or admissions, including but not limited to: hiring an actor for a movie or television commercial, hiring a priest or chaplain, hiring a translator, etc.

So called "legacy admissions," being defined as university admissions granted by virtue of family legacy, are also banned. No university admissions decision may be influenced, positively or negatively, by family legacy.
