To make the desolate region of Sabah a testing zone for all senate projects.

1. Sabah will be declared as territory directly under the jurisdiction of the senate.

Death to wars of imperialism, death to the fascist PF, long live international proletarianism.

Nay, 18 votes since history has shown that setting up camp on conquered territory tends to be a bad idea. I'm sure we can find other, less internationally controversial testing grounds which will be more suited to our needs.

3025df No.11693

Let's not disintegrate the sovereignty of the Malaysian state and people any more than we already have.

No. Seven seats.

If I amend it to include reparations to the Malaysian people, would that change your mind?
>>11693
Xeno, you STILL need to make a PPT thread.

463a9d No.11695

>>11694
I think reparations are called for pretty much no matter what. If you legally purchase all that land, I'd change my votes to yes.

d3b9e9 No.11697

463a9d No.11699

>>11697
Then I change my vote to yea, 18 seats on the condition that all of the land is legally purchased and reparations are paid in full to the Malaysian people who have suffered extensive losses. We can never bring the innocent back from the dead, but we owe it to the rest of Malaysia to treat it with the utmost respect during this time of great loss as they begin to rebuild.

War is never pretty and it is never fun. We regret the severe loss of life and hope we won't have to use such a weapon in the future, but we can begin to rebuild.

d57e96 No.11740

Sabah is (currently) under the jurisdiction of the Malaysian government and its people. Under the aftermath of war the most important priorities of the state is to rebuild and redevelop.

Reparations and developmental aid are of the highest priority in this region, and as such, must remain to the (current) rightful owners of this land.

Taking over NF/KKK Supremo!!gEDvQH2IxY, I vote Nay, 12 seats

d3b9e9 No.11746

>>11740
As it stands, the state of Sabah is nothing more then an unusable wasteland. The best we could do for the people of Malaysia is to give them reparations for that damage done, and purchase the land from them. I'm guessing you don't want what's best for the people of Malaysia, though.

d57e96 No.11751

>>11746
As it stands, the unusable wasteland will continue to be a wasteland and might even be a permanent wasteland if it's handed over to the senate to be a testing zone. Moreover, it's highly unlikely that all "research and development" will repair this wasteland.

d3b9e9 No.11756

>>11751
My point is, that it will be completely useless to Malaysia. Best thing we can do for them is to give the reparations, and pay for the land. I never said that the R&D would restore it, just make it useful.

d57e96 No.11761

>>11756
Reparations are important yes, but you mustn't forget the importance of land.

I propose Sabah be leased to the senate for a period of time, after which ownership would be relinquished from the senate and back to the sovereignty.

d3b9e9 No.11763

>>11761
For how long would that be? The land is unusable, and they would be paid for the land as well as receiving reparations.

d57e96 No.11769

>>11763
And should they not continue to receive reparations from the actions of the previous leader of NF/KKK and the (frankly overzealous) reaction of the rest of the senate which is an Exterminatus-tier solution that lead to a wasteland?

By then, the Malaysian people can easily rebuild and redevelop.

Now, now, there's nothing in the constitution stating I have to justify my votes or the motives behind my votes, right?

I hope this is just a single silly action by the PF and not a full political degeneration.

The workers of Sabah are not happy.

After doing a fact check I find the obliteration of Sabah's population and land an abhorrent act. Regardless, I understand that this may have more to do with necessity than anything else.

However…I'm willing to change my mind on this. Vote changed to Yes, 31 votes.

You're comfortable with sending 50,000 conscripted citizens on an unprovoked invasion of another nation's sovereign territory?

efb469 No.11794

Reparations and another payment are to be made, plus it's not like Malaysia is going to have anything other than a burden taking care of this desolate region.
