Additionally, the blatant brinksmanship displayed by UCFP (
>>12433 ) and HKLIP (
>>12434 ) in response to the FPA's effects gives reason to believe that said parties and their representatives either know far too little of the regional reality to be entrusted with creating policies that affect the region, or that they knew full well what effects the FPA would cause, and intentionally signed onto the act as a means of
intentionally escalating the war and an
excuse to exercize mass-destructive brinksmanship in response.
NATN objects to UCFP's and HKLIP's goals to deploy mass-destructive weapons at this time. Some of you might not be completely aware of this, but mass-destructive weapons are very dangerous things. They're a lot more than just a tool that lets you wave your dick around in your enemy's face. They kill people. Lots of people. Millions of people.
They're dangerous. They're dangerous when imperialist superpowers have them. They're dangerous when world powers like the Senate have them. They're dangerous when smaller forces have them.
But, they're especially dangerous when rogue factions or rebels or anybody that shouldn't have them gets their hands on one. Both of your parties are unstable right now. Kane, Weil, what would you do if the NF or the IFP managed to get their hands on one of your weapons platforms?
Nothing, that's what. You'd be dead. If you're worried about your existence, you really shouldn't be. You've managed to fight off, or at least buy out almost the entire Senate on your own, most of the time without the help of mass-destructive weapons.
HKLIP, you have some serious rebel issues. Do you think that you really have a 100% guarantee of keeping every single mass-destructive weapon out of rebel hands? What if someone starts assisting those rebels? What if the Commies start assisting those rebels? Now you have some communist rebels that have a serious chance of getting mass-destructive weapons and blowing you up!
You guys should take care of your own internal stability issues before you even think about messing around with mass-destructive weapons.
Plus, there's another issue with mass-destructive proliferation. The dick waving. The UCFP and the UN Security Council love to wave their dicks around and go "HEY LOOK AT US WE HAVE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. AREN'T WE COOL?". They want to be the King and Queen of Destruction. If the rest of the world starts building mass-destructive weapons, they'll have to build even more so they can keep waving their dicks around and being the best and mightiest destroyers in all the land. And once we got this cycle going, we suddenly start speeding to global mass-destructive warfare. Once we got these superpowers waving around their dicks a lot more, and giving them even bigger dicks to work with, then we have a chance of catastrophe.
There's a chance that as they wave their massive mass-destructive demolition dicks around, their dicks could touch. And once they touch, they'll just freak out because they just touched someone else's dick. That's when mass-destructive war happens.
