What I would say is that it's the story of the Crimson Squad, as well as their turn to get to question the Hanzo girls on their belief as to what "good" is.

After the events of Burst, the grils learn that Dogen was using the Hebi 5 to lure the Hanzo in so that they'd spill enough blood to allow him to revive Orochi and use Hebijo as a Yoma factory. After his defeat the Hebijo girls leave and for Homura's Crimson Squad.

Chapter 2 has them called back by Suzune to reclaim the school as Dogen has rebuilt it and made it a Yoma factory, after Homura comes to terms with the fact that the other 4 girls truly believe in her as their leader

Chapter 3 has the Crimson girls going to Kyoto after Yomi won a competition. Turns out the Hanzo girls are on a field trip to Kyoto also. There they run into Naraku and Kagura. The Hanzo girls are first told to apprehend the girls, but by the end of chapter 3 they are informed by the higher-ups, through Kiriya, that the two girls are to be killed. The Hanzo, though conflicted, do what they must to follow orders, while the Crimson are there to question their every move.

No point in normally attacking thanks to the easy to abuse lily system, the lily system leading to nothing outside of maybe one scene, UI and pathing (specifically traps and being unable to get around them with some characters), and of course dialogue and interactions.
