Already beat the first one. Well, everything sans Case 5, which is something extra added by the DS version on that's more of a prequel to AA4 than something that goes with AA1.
I watched a friend play through it and am now making my way through AA2. Sadly, I am now on Big Top Turnabout, which most seem to feel is the weakest case in the series and everything I've seen so far has lead me to concur. Still, it'll be worth it for Case 4 which is supposedly awesome.

Sourdough is a huge faff of getting the dough to go mouldy naturally and keeping a starter going by baking bread daily and breaking another starter off before you bake. Soda bread doesn't even get kneaded because the reaction starts at room temperature, you just blitz together the ingredients and wang it in the oven. That cuts down on time massively.

The first 4 games were GBA ported to the DS. Investigations series was DS. AA5 is 3DS. There's a massive uptick in sprite quality between 3 and 4 too, which makes AA1 case 5 on the DS (which was added to that version) have a really weird art style since they have both really nice looking new sprites and really crappy looking (by comparison) old ones.

From what I know, it's really cool. It kind of marries the old series with the new Apollo Justice stuff pretty well. I like the idea of having a more ensemble cast feel. It reminds me a lot of Trauma Team (my favorite in the series) but for lawyers. AA6 will continue this tradition by AT LEAST having two protagonists.
