Ok, but have you seen everything Jasmine can do? You say you're not being bias but saying she can't keep up with Kagura when you haven't even played EV is a bit much.

And to be fair, Jasmine can beat the whole Hanzõ group, but one has to keep two things in mind:

-Crimson Homura and Ultimate Asuka are really, really strong, to the point where they would outclass the Hanzõ school as a whole if it were just the two of them (just ignore the fact that there'd be two Asukas in this scenario)

-The girls seem to be weaker in Versus. Yõma are a much, much bigger threat in Versus, and I don't think they're necessarily stronger there. Though we can't confirm this 100%, I'd say it's telling that the SK2 versions of the girls can defeat huge Yõma in pairs, when it requires large groups in the Versus series.

Yes and no. I went with gameplay because that's our best way to judge Jasmine right now. It would be pure speculation at worst and educated guesses at best to say anything about Jasmine that isn't gameplay related. And Kagura's strength is very consistent between gameplay and story, so it seems fair to use gameplay for her: both SK2 and EV gameplay alike, as the power gap between those two seems to be surprisingly minor. Though I was mostly looking at SK2 for this, in terms of Kagura's strength.

The difference between going for gameplay with Murasame and Kagura is that Murasame's power in gameplay and story are very dissonant, while those things allign closely when it comes to Kagura. Which makes me happy, it would be a shame if Murasame wouldn't be any fun to play as.

That's basically my thoughts on her too, yup. While it's only speculation right now, I am interested in it. I know Jasmine will get close to the bar Kagura set up, but how close she'll get is a mystery. It's even possible that she'll surpass Kagura, though I do sincerely doubt that myself.

I'd say that it's a tough call. Based on SV the Versus timeline (assuming that theory about timelines is correct, which SK2 does make me believe) seemingly having the girls be quite a bit weaker (unless Yõma are even more threatening there), I'd say that they'd have a harder time with beating Kagura. However, I think they could definitely win, but that it'd be an even closer matchup.
