Alright guys, i'm 5-10 mins into VD. Here's my impressions so far:
>Awesome intro video (as usual for Takaki)
>A very large portion of the UI and menus are in English already which bodes well for a quick western release
>Character models are nice, same quality as EV
>Combat seems similar to SV/EV with a bit more opportunity for combos and flow
>Little more camera control than Senran which means more opportunity for panty shots and the like
>During dialogue, each character has their own little pixel-form-of-themselves "Next" button which is neat

OK, some more observations:
>Combat is WAY more in depth than SV/EV. The opportunities for cool combos and chains are plentiful. The game even teaches you some cool ways to chain attacks (called phantom dances) for extra damage. I'm actually feeling a little out of my depth with the combat right now, some of the combos are pretty tricky.
>The transformation sequences ("DRIVE!) are phenomenal!
>The soundtrack is awesome during combat, it really gets you pumped to fight.
>Be prepared to dash and dodge a lot.
