I don't really know what the plan is. I've got about 4 or 5 friends coming into town for my birthday and I have no idea what they want to do. Yeah, there's a bunch of missions that only unlock once you beat the story. The story also winds up at around level 45-50, but max level is 60 and there are bosses up into the 90s, which you have to gear up for to match their stats. There's also online missions that aren't really feasible before 60, or at least not if you want to make much of a dent in their health, which is shared across the whole game, with all the other players.
