It's fun. Kind of babby's first Monster Hunter, positioning and such aren't as vital, you don't have to manage inventory. There's a fun way to develop special moves, if you combo enemies enough, you get a Crystal Surge, which will buff moves in a certain way. For example, I have Counter buffed with several levels of Death and Poison, and I'll be adding Malice(the aggro skill) as soon as I reach the area for it.
Honestly, I'll probably go back to MonHun after I'm done, but for the price this costs, I'll get my money's worth. It's easier to play casually than MonHun, at any rate.

Back for a while now. Its dinner time and i'm relinquishing the PS4 to hubby for a while so he can play Journey. I'm really really enjoying EV on the PS4, it completely changes your opinion on how Senran should be played. The series has so much potential on stronger hardware and i'm really excited to see if they take advantage of that.
Its actually a little scary, i'm strongly considering changing my name to "EVAnon". The PS4 version has had that much of an impact on me. We'll see if its a passing thought though.

The PS4 version actually has some advantages. On time-constraint missions, the Vita version will wait until you have destroyed all shinobi in a group before it spawns the next group (and spawning has a ~0.5 second delay) presumably due to resource limitations. On the PS4 it will spawn the next group when the current group is down to about 2-3 shinobi. This means you can pretty much continue fighting without delay and complete the missions faster!

Eh, there's not enough of it, as far as I'm concerned. There's a lot of fighting games and stuff, but only a select few games that are just about two guys beating one another's face in. It may have been done before, but it's not really done all that often. It's also nice to have a perverted action game where you play as a dude, which is rather uncommon.
Eh, VD in general just seems to do everything, and I mean everything, worse than other games. SK basically does it all better. Its story is incomplete, and not even that good in the first place. The gameplay seems unengaging from what I've been told, such as a Senranon playing it for one session and never touching it again because it just didn't do anything.
