I have the ORAS. If you liked RSE, it does some parts justice. Having all pokemon in Hoenn is nice. Mechanically it's nothing out of the ordinary for pokemon. The addition of the Latios/Latias summoning flute is really cool since you can choose where to land and you can get a nice view of the world. For getting somewhere, fly is still faster. Newer mega evos, can't remember who got some right now. The battle maison makes a return, but it's now the battle resort aka, "Smogonburg". You can smell the meta as soon as you walk onto the island. The npcs there are all about muh stats and shit. Secret base building is about the same as it was years ago, but now with more goodies. Blissey base farming is huge, find a qr picture set and get to it. No battle frontier, but you probably already know that. I don't know if I missed anything, so correct me on what I missed. Sweet scent can be cast in sandstorms. I don't know if that was in X and Y, so don't take that and run.
