I've been trying for the past few hours now to get my laptop to work with a fucking Ethernet connection. It keeps connecting to an unidentified network instead of my home internet connection. The purple button right under your team on the home menu takes you to the page where you can choose and swap girls on your five girl team
At the top of the page, the purple third purple button takes you right to the event for these types. Normally you hit the button underneath your team (it has Kagura on it for this one) to go to the event page.
From there you'll see a page with your team displayed at the top with three tabs and a page of enemies you can battle. Those tabs, left to right, change the page to enemies stronger than > equal to > weaker than you. Pick one of those enemies to fight em

Anyways, the button in the topright corner (list icon if you're on homepage) brings up this menu. The green scroll icon takes you to a page where you can get reward for completing challenges in the event. Just beat ten enemeis to get a Matsuri.
The blue ball takes you to the gachas. (On the first tab you can get a sample of Basho's voiced lines). Last tab takes you to the support gacha with Hijikata. Beat enemies to get medals to spend in this event and try to get her to drop from there.
Once you beat enemies you can collect the tokens and stuff the gacha gives you from that pink box on the menu.

More or less to keep things a bit interesting. Crimson squad gets it a bit due to them being renegades after burst thus leading to them getting casual outfits instead of uniforms. I think Haruka's design going from boob window to underboobs was more to play up her sexiness. Or maybe Nan makes tweaks to the design at random and the rest of the team humors him.

The Crimson Squad is the only group to really get changes in terms of clothing. After becoming renegades at the end of Burst, they had to live undercover so a new set of clothes was needed for them now that they weren't in school anymore.
As for stuff like swimsuits and underwear, girls like to change things up every now and then. If you're talking about artstyle, then that's just different companies with licenses to the source having different artists work on it.
