The X-Files is one of my favorite shows. It was just so good at taking a ridiculous idea and making it believable and threatening. It was great at humor. I enjoyed it even in Season 9 but I think the second movie was a huge letdown.

Anybody here have favorite episodes?

It's super relevant today. In the X-Files, the government was always conspiring against its people. They were often times the villains, and it was the work of a handful of people to change that. With all the recent scandals, the idea that the government is actually like that is not far off from the truth at all.

Home, The Host, Tooms episodes, every single Alien storyline episode (I'm a pleb, I know), Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man, and a number of others I can't remember.

I don't think there was ever an episode that I hated which is amazing.
